Pros; -you don't have to pay rent (probably save you 3 or 400 bucks a month. -since your old lady is from there you can probably get a smoking deal on land. -good investment for your children later on in life. -good for keeping your children connected to their roots. -you can get something with some coconut trees. So you can make some coconut wine Cons; -10k turns into 10 million when your wife has to have a castle -you have to see the inlaws all the time -everyone in town spins stories about what's going on at the foreigners house -good education for kids might be a problem -Wife spends all your money, kicks you out for a younger model & you end up living in a Napa hut, getting drunk all the time on coconut wine cause it's free -

Buy a land few minutes away from the city. Where the internet signal is good. It's hard to build a house in province in the type of business you're in . plus make it sure you're close to school and hospital. Here's my take, for me it is best to have a stable foundation like a house while kids are growing up .soon as they will start high-school and college money is gonna be tight. Stable house is important to have a home you can comeback to. You as a foreign husband you can do a legal arrangement so you'll be rest assured that you can and will live forever if you wish to.

I'm Australian and was watching a vid on how you can buy a rundown house in Detroit USA for $4000 if you repair it. The guy said he could have it finished for $12000. You could then rent it out and get returns you can't loose unless you decide to be with an American woman.
My opinion is no house and no camera. Keep the money aside until you need the camera. Wait until your camera breaks down or is stolen or lost or damaged. You can wait on the house until more time passes or more options or choices surface. You have plenty of years left. 👍
