Those two mold yarns were in a bag by themselves, no mold on the outside of the bag. After the video I took a couple pictures and threw them away. The rest of my yarn is fine, well, besides the hair cake, it got thrown out too... 😊
Gross. I bet you felt like jumping in the shower after this video,burning your clothes and bleaching your desk!!! Is it weird that the hair bothered me more than the mold! My hair reaches my waist I have crocheted into things before, it's even gotten stuck in the electric window of the car LOL! But hairy yarn that you don't know who's it belongs to! Yuck.

Oh Crystal. I've missed quite a few of your recent posts. I've been having problems with needing extra mammograms and ultrasounds and finally a biopsy. I've been pretty scared over the past three weeks. But good news, it came back benign. So now it's time to get back to my schedule and I'm going to have to binge watch your videos. I did get quite a few have made. Everybody in my neighborhood is asking me to make them on, even the man and women. All it does is give me more experience so I can get better and attempt to work on a more detailed project. Thanks again for your tutorials and teaching me how to crochet. Love your Channel
I don't think you're being petty at all, moldy yarn is a potential health issue and someone else's hair in a brand new skein of yarn is also rather off-putting.
I’m loving the education I get from your channel. I like learning about all the different yarns, stitches etc. I’m very new to this and I’ve become a yarnivore monster. It’s really sad that some people respond so negatively, where’s that going get you?! Its great to have opinions but please respect the people who work hard for these channels. In my opinion Crystal, you need not ever explain to anyone why or how or when, but I know you do this because of a kind heart ❤️ and that you respect your viewers. Your 'teaching' is amazing! Whether it's about yarns hauls and unboxing, or teaches us the different companies and what their products and fibers and how to care for them Your reviews teach us about the yarns and their characteristics and if they are similar to a different brand, and what value they have compared to another brand, and what they could be used for, showing some colours they come. Then you use these yarns in tutorials, how to use a particular yarn for a particular item, though you always give us other options, and you are very thorough in how you take us through the patterns that you have created yourself. You make is seem so easy when you teach us about a new stitch and which type of yarn would be best suited to that pattern. And all of this together teaches us how to create beautiful items and it encourages us to strive for more knowledge, and gives us confidence to try new things! Confidence to create our own patterns of beautiful, and useful items of our own design! You teach us and encourage us to go beyond what we know now. That is the job of a teacher! And you do it well! Crystal.....I just want to tell you that you are a great teacher......I am almost 70 years old and learned all the basic crochet stitches when I was probably close to 20 years old so I've been doing this for 50 years.....but I live in a very rural area and have not been where there were many different types or brands of yarns.....I was so stupid I didn't even know you could buy yarn online until I started watching you. You have taught me new stitches and about new and different brands of yarns.......wow!!! It's amazing what I have learned just by watching your channel........don't ever affiliate with any company because at this point you can tell the truth about what you feel or like about a brand or color....but if you were an affiliate you would have to lie and say it was wonderful even if you didn't think so and that's not you......so please stay as you are!!! My father taught me years and years ago that even when you have every right to complain if you put your complaints in an FYI type of thing, tossed in with a bit of humor 😀😃😄😁 you get a heck of a lot more attention re: your issue. I would hazard to guess that not only are you going to have your yarn replaced... In addition they will be sending you some complimentary yarns. Now, you HAVE to let me know how you make out. My husband actually prefers his sweaters made from Red Heart Super Savor. I did his last cabled sweater out of the Ombre and it turned out so gorgeous I got more to make one for my son.

I would let them know the issues with the yarn. Mold would make me sneeze and the hair is not good. My hair gets into my work sometimes, that happens. I'm sure they will make things right. The rest of the yarns were very pretty. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, that's mold. Water will find a way to get wherever. As far as the hair--that doesn't bother me. See you wear your hair long around yarn and it can fall out and get into the yarn. Unless people have their hair tied up and put under a net, this can happen. Just like in the restaurants no one wears a hair net. London fog yarn is pretty. Everyone is trying to compete with each other. Hobium is back in business, but their website is not complete yet. Thanks for the unboxing. 🧶
That mold and hair was grose lol. I loved that yarn from Italy so pretty. And also the Bernat Tweed. I made a shawlette/ cowl out of the same color of Its a Wrap Hues you got and it turned out really nice. Love the colors ❤

I used that phentex worsted for a blanket last year. Loved it. It’s washing well, very durable.

That mold and hair was grose lol. I loved that yarn from Italy so pretty. And also the Bernat Tweed. I made a shawlette/ cowl out of the same color of Its a Wrap Hues you got and it turned out really nice. Love the colors ❤
