Sure, I have a few female friends I’ve known before my girlfriend of two years and she knows that but I don’t hang out with them unless she is there, it’s just a respect thing. There were girls I found physically attractive but were cool people too when I was single and had their numbers but once I met my now girlfriend, numbers gone, everything. She does it ALL for me and she is EVERYTHING I want. Sorry for the rant but live your podcast, I’m glad it was recommended to me….and you made me miss my exit ramp by the way,😂😂. You guys rock! I'd say YES it is possible to be attracted to someone else- not just find them attractive-while you are married (we are humans and have feelings), HOWEVER, you must have the spirit of God ruling your heart and mind, and you must train your mind to, in the moment meditate on God (if it happens in first glance), or if it's after repeated conversations, cut the friendship. Without the spirit of God, that attraction will turn into something destructive to your marriage.
It's impossible if you are truly happily married in every way to like someone else only when something is missing in your relationship, is it possible.If someone feels neglected in some way and you think that other person could fill that role of provider, that's when it usually happens.😊
Am with John on this one on how he dissects attractive and attracted, a lot of young people are getting married to one person while they're attracted to someone else.
