    Nice old 9. It sounds good and pushes a large load of dirt. Better than a new one.

    GREAT vid!! This vid is really tempurmental. I had to turn the sound on my computer down a bunch so it wouldnt freeze every few seconds because that D9G is so loud!! Plus, TH-cam still says it isnt fully processed and it was loaded days ago. That Caterpillar diesel engine in the D9G must be wicked in real life!

    @dieseldave71 Clearly this dozer doesn't have a angle blade that your D9 has. The angle I am talking about is when the tilt cylinder tilts the corner of the blade to the left \ or right /.

    @YaDunn0 I was making a long video and the video resolution was lowered in order to keep the file size smaller than that of 1080p. It takes hours to upload 500-900mb.

    @srgarza2007 We collect machines and put them to work when we can afford it.

    I know how different material can look "easy" and yet be very abrasive, or sticky, either one. So I won't be one sitting here a thousand miles away with a lot of advice! But one thing I always did was to dig a fair blade full and leave it partway to the fill/waste area, then go back and do it again, even if I stacked three piles on the way, instead of one blade the whole way. In other words I didn't try to dig...(put enough pressure on the blade) to make it "Full" all the way. Too much effort in 12 hours, too much track, too much fuel and oil! By pushing a blade load into an already loose pile, I gained more yardage less effort, even when I was loosing part of it over the next 20 feet. But that way I was building berms, which also gave more yardage less effort. Ran all kinds for 46 years, but dozers were my personal payday....gave the checks to the family 🤣🤣🤣

    @dirtshower250 Yes the blade will angle left or right.

    • @raymondquave1237

      That is a tilt bull blade or straight blade in order to have a angle blade you need a C frame with push arms and they also tilt hydraulic or manual

    @DieselPowerTV Really? looks like an "S" blade with a tilt cylinder to me. I can't see how it could angle???

    I know you're trying to be easy on her but its ok to use full throttle it wont hurt it, I promise

    • @michaelmacluskie6089
      @michaelmacluskie6089 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      No its not ok to use full throttle....you are definitely not acquainted to this type of equipment, Torque converters, loads etc.

    • @timventers742
      @timventers742 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeh! Its lumbering along alright. Certainly not working. But shes all torque. Its probably sitting on 1400rpm. Me personally would have it singing a bit higher just so i didnt nod off. 1600 gets most big diesels in there sweet spot. These old blokes will tell you otherwise but you wont kill the fucking things. Theres a lot of these old girls hidden around the traps here in Aus if your looking for them. Most of them had a ball and chain hanging off the ass end of them.
