villagers never react fast enough if they payed attention more they would have killed more pillagers. Also villagers should have learned from the pillagers the entire series they were using the same weapons unlike pillagers who were using different weapons to defeat the villagers when they actually defeated the pillagers. if the villagers did that they would have a higher chance of winning.
