Thank you for making this video. Nick is my uncle and I love watching old clips about him. When I was a kid I’d watch him kick 70 yarders in practice easily. He was incredible to watch in person. It was a lot of fun going to Chiefs games back then to watch him. Good times

While you are on injuries and the 1990 Chiefs... you really need to do a video on Steve DeBerg's finger. It is still legend in Kansas City.

You mentioned how Nick Lowery had very few missed extra points in the 1980s. I’ll always remember one, since it was against My Beloved Seahawks in 1983. The Chiefs scored a late touchdown to go up 48-45. Lowery then missed the extra point. Seahawks Kicker Norm Johnson then made a 42-yard field goal to send the game into overtime, then hit another 42-yarder to win it in OT, 51-48.
This unofficial Official Jaguar Gator 9 historian will remind everyone you also made videos on the following:
    1. Eric Schubert’s debut as a Giants kicker in 1985 in which he went 5/5 in Giants Stadium, which, like Soldier Field, is not an easy place to kick.
    2. How Lowery clinched the Chiefs 10-6 playoff victory over the Raiders in 1991 thanks to a video game Head Coach Marty Schottenheimer played against his son Brian.
    3. How Lions Kicker Jason Hanson kicked the game winning field goal in the 1994 season opener against the Falcons with a broken foot.

Nick the Kick// DeBerg was injured in that game as well and threw for nearly 300 yards- a watermark for that period. The world needs to know about DeBerg's long career as a journeyman mentor

As a Chiefs fan who started following them in '89, I really only remember Nick Lowery's misses more than anything. Even this game, he missed on his only XP attempt (not mentioned in the video), that's all I really remember. I have to watch vids like this one to really appreciate Nick Lowery's career; and to be reminded he was injured and gutted out this performance, missed XP notwithstanding.

Wow Hats off, This is one of my Favorite Channels. But when I seen the Title As one of the Greatest Games by a Chief Kicker and it was Nick Lowery my 1st impression was "Oh hold up" Lol. I then Watched the video and I agree. However I had in mind the Game Last Year when Justin Hebert had his Rookie Debut against Patrick Mahomes. Hebert got a last second nod to start. Justin Hebert went on to absolutely own the chiefs Defense and Mahomes was put in check by the chargers defense. A Classic Quarterback Duel for the ages was unfolding. As Hebert led his team in the 4th to take the lead late, of Course From the Ashes arose Mahomes with his magic. Setting the stage for what I felt at the time for one of the most insane Performances I had ever seen by a Kicker "Harrison Butker" Who I felt Upstaged it all. Earlier in the game Butker had broke the chiefs record with a 58 yrd FG. In overtime Mahomes Does his thing setting up Butker for a 53 yrd Fg try for the win. From 53 yards out under the pressure of A game winning FG from a long 53 yrds. The Snap the kick it's good! Wait a Flag offsides. Move it back 5 yrds. Now Butker has to hit it from his earlier Record Breaking Distance 58 yrds. The odds right? The Snap the kick it's long enough it's good! Wait Timeout Ice the Kicker! One more attempt this time with Feeling. The Snap the Kick it's long enough and once again its GOOD!!!. 3 IN A ROW, UNDER 4TH QUARTER GAME WINNING CONDITIONS AFTER ALREADY HITTING A CHIEFS RECORD 58 YARDER. THUS OVERSHADOWING THE FUTURE RIVALRY JUSTIN HEBERT VS PATRICK MAHOMES By not just breaking the chiefs record of 58 yrds but doing it x3 in the same game! Although x1 Didnt count. But breaking and tying his own record in the same game is pretty cool to// LIKE BRADY WAS TO MANNING. AN INCREDIBLE GAME ONE OF MY MOST FAVORITE OF ALL TIME. JUST THOUGHT ID SHARE THAT.
BUT I NEVER KNEW NICK LOWERY DID THIS. YOU GOT ME ON THIS ONE 👍🏈❤👍 BE BLESSED
