Gotta love the 2 to 3 passing series by the Todd! It seems so effortless, a true master :)

Great shot at 2:14 and 2:57. Todd adjusted though, and that's it.

Unfortunately I think Tony Spredeman and Ryan Moore may have ruined foosball for all other players. Or more specifically, ruined it for viewers watching these matches. It's just without one or both of them in the match, it's not nearly as exciting. And it's not so much the overall skill that im talking about. I don't really know Frank K. but anyone who knows foosball knows the name Todd Loffredo. The man is nothing short of legend. But Spredeman and Moore (and a handful of others) have changed the style of play. A lot faster paced while still maintaining control. So it's really saying something that watching players like Todd Loffredo, who seems to actually be getting better in his later years, no longer holds the same appeal.

No Filler Words Productions You don't care to expand on that? Just "I disagree" and you leave it that? I guess that is your prerogative. Keep in mind though my comment shouldn't be taken literally. Another words I certainly don't mean to say that Spredeman and Moore have actually ruined foosball for viewers. All I mean to say is that they have changed the game. They have upped the ante. And this is a good thing. A very good thing. This is how a sport progresses to the next level. You get players like Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson, Tiger Woods, Lebron James.....etc, these guys are game changers because they force the competition around them to get better. In order for other players to remain both competitive and entertaining, they must change. I think Spredeman and Moore are just those kind of people. They are game changers.

It's completely the opposite... Todd just proves you don't need to play at mach-10, with a bag full of fancy shots to be competitive. If anything, his game should inspire middle-tier players, or those looking to play. All you need is a reliable shot on the 3, a calm, steady 5 and patience in the back. I mean, yeah, Todd has decades of confidence backing his game, but anyone can practice the basic foos shots/passes Todd uses, and compete.
Saying his game is *boring* is akin to hating on a 1-run pitcher's duel in baseball, or a 1-0 NHL game. Sure, they aren't flashy, but they are still things of beauty to behold, to those in-the-know.
And as far as changing the game? *shrug* Sure, they are the *it* guys now, and every generation had their share of guys who upped the ante. Yet, when you look at world rankings, funny how Todd is always hovering right up at the top. ..boring game and all...

@@chrisvanderwielen1530 For me, call me old school but I'm still in love with Todd's game. And you are correct. He has gotten better as he's aged. He's still my favorite player and because of the reasons you just mentioned. We have also became pretty good friends. I got to play with Todd in every event we could play in at the 2020 La state. For me it was a cool weekend that I will always remember. We played Open doubles and handicapped doubles. We placed 4th in both. Im sure he would have placed a little higher or won if he played with a Master. We lost to Tommy Adkinson in Open for 3rd or better and Tommy went on to win the event and we lost to Kevin Romero & Carlos on the loser side in the 5th game. Todd played with his basic pull shot, great defensive 5 and the ability to grab loose balls at any speed. Nothing flashy. Just a hard hitting accurate pull shot ! Believe me his pull is much faster and hits way harder live then it appears on video. My 2nd favorite player for all the same reasons is Billy Papas.
