@@25nahshon lmao dang I was jus trying to give him a lil credit
Gil kept it 💯 an sticking by my guy ❤❤❤
Great that Gil still talks to javaris but let's be honest if Gil would have never brought those guns into the locker room and said " Pick one" javaris life would 8/10 been different.
Nobody makes you join the Crips and sell dope my guy lol … self accountability is everything
@@Jbcomedystl self accountability is black people’s kryptonite
@@Jbcomedystl You and the ppl who supported your comment are lost. You don't think beyond the word go. After that incident it was downhill for him. Out of the NBA killed his dream. No need for me to explain this to you though. You smart right 😆

Props Vladimir;
for (not) having contrived,

semi-scripted interviews.
You're either a great actor,
or the interview changed when you found out the
actual humanity of
an unfortunate circumstance.
Gil is a great storyteller.

Agent0 ruined crittentons career n life just like crooked cops
Vald doing his police work when reading all that jc did 😂😂 and then asking GA did you talk to him at all during this time
Did I just hear he joined the Crips after signing with the Lakers?? You know what.... It ain't my life... Who am I to judge
I was thinking the same thing. At one point I was 15 16 n wanted to join but an og crip she told me it's not for people like me. She said you're a good person with a future I never understood until 15 years later. I'm a father a chef. It's great. Yeah we all have ups n downs, but we don't go do negative things when we go through stuff.
Granted I do music but it's all hobby lol
Why can’t you judge? He’s an idiot. And don’t make excuses for him cause he’s blk
I hear you! Remember Chris Brown joined the Bloods well into his career! People do what they want to do
@@g33k707 I don't know his life, who knows... God bless him tho, surely he's learned by now
Just think, these two brothers had great careers after coming from humble beginnings Due to ego and poor decision making they both had to be deal with the consequences. Gilbert is great at deflection and explain himself out of the situation. Not one time did Gilbert admit his wrongs
What did gilbert do wrong tho? The trainer overreacted.
I'm trying to figure out what Gilbert did wrong. He was an Allstar who has a net worth of $40 million at 40 years old. He is as much a success story as is possible in America.

Right
Trying to be hard!, somebody rob you and u see them u just gone let them be?
@@tweezy3900 yes. Getting my stuff back isn't worth going to prison. I'll take the L
@@tweezy3900 I think I would call the police and let them do their job. Javaris was a b ball player, not a gangster. Instead he shot at some fool and killed an innocent woman in the process because his pride was hurt. What a loser.
@@tweezy3900 hell yea...call the cops. A pro player has power regular citizens dont..but he kept it crip..two black lives destroyed..A dead young mom and his dumb ass. You can be hard though..dont complain when you hit that prison cell ok tough guy.
Just don’t understand why niggas who have made it decide later on in life to join gangs lol why would any real gang accept anyways?
The money
Gangs like money & clout (2pac, lil wayne, 69, etc).
Gilbert keeps saying how close they were, that doesn't sound like a big brother little brother situation.
So basically you got two punks in the story and one innocent lady that lost her life to a leg shot,
Nobody cares about her
Sucks that javaris is in prison while Gilbert won and doing podcast.
Javaris Crittenton was the prequel to Ja Morant.
Gilbert is a clown . He had so many ways to diffuse this situation . He still seems to think the whole situation is funny .
He’s definitely an instigator, acts like a fckin child.
The more you watch Gilbert is the more you realize he is like Steve Urkel from Family Matters. He starts SHlT and goes " did I do that".

He should've took the stand to backfire the DAs case!!! Shock.them on the stand by saying exactly what you just said to Vlad!!! He helped them by telling them you'd hurt their case!!🙄
You don't understand. Taking the stand could have also hurt the case. He got out of it so he wouldn't have to testify about the foul ish his friend did also. That was a smart move.
@@dawheel5311 no you don't understand... and how is it smart if homey locked up... Gilbert could've backfired the DAs case into a better plea agreement...
I've been in enough court to not be told I don't understand how shit works.

Man Im glad I heard the truth finally!
Dudes bring guns to the locker room and think they were unfairly treated. Yes Gilbert that is detrimental to the team. Jarvis was fringe player in first place.. What he did was also detrimental to the team.
Im sure they werent the first or last dude to bring a gun into the locker room
Why is it a big deal I don't get it?
He’s out of prison now
GA accepted accountability for his role in the situation spinning out of control… yes they were wrong… but the team used the media to take money from 2 Black athletes… the team could have easily covered this up… the media had us thinking these dudes had guns drawn and were about to have a shootout…it’s unfortunate that their juvenile behavior cost them so much… other folks have done way worse, but the rules are always different for certain people… ultimately Jarvis was infatuated with the street life and got caught up… he could have easily worked his tail off and got back in the league…but immaturity cost him…
I can tell you love Tariq Nasheed. The media ?! Yo black people think everything is racist even even when we’re wrong. Yeah gambling debts and bringing guns to defend your honor is TOTALLY the media twisting the story. The fact that you called that Juvenile behavior is crazy.
@@AntHardaway4 actually not a Tariq Nasheed fan at all… just a man that thinks critically… you probably avoided word problems in school… at the end of the day, they put themselves in the position and have no one to blame… however, the story the media told is not at all what GA described
It doesn't matter, fact remains - guns were in the locker room. The media spin thousands of stories daily to draw views and retain shock factor. if you are a high profile person then unfortunately that comes with the territory black white orange don't matter. Don't deface the fact that these two men made terrible mistakes and try to use skin colour come on now.
Vlad is asking Gilbert about what he knows about the story so district attorneys can go and add more charges than what Javaris already has.
Gilbert is NOT a good dude.. He has ALOT of BAD history with ppl.. Playing basketball aside...
he is a jokester and an instagator. if you cant handle that then you are pathetic
Gilbert needs to have his own podcast show the media back in the day when he played did try to paint him as a gun toting crazy person in the locker room.
Gilbert looking like "I was fucking with the wrong nigga" 😂😂😂
Good job ratting out the parole officer, I hope he's retired.
Dam u can see gill eyes tearing up he a real one
Yea you could tell he cared for the guy but he lost his way when he kicked out the league
