Just a suggestion, when you don't have a positive connection for both contacts put the top one under the clamp which will hold it down for positive contact then you can fiddle with the other contact.
This is incredible. I found a video about hemp batteries made 4 years ago, which led me here. Really interesting to see even a basic version made. I could literally make my own batteries for outdoor use!!!
I’ve also been following these types of videos on the research of this technology for years and it’s so so surprising there isn’t more out there! I really appreciate this and hope it leads to more!
I’m a hemp farmer myself and I’ve been planning to install solar for greenhouse and batteries are in need this may be right up my alley. But how do you charge it first off or is it just one time use?
@@levitate9they’re still being researched. Personally building a lab myself so that I can run some tests and make one that doesn’t use extreme chemicals.
I noticed super capacitor mixture have the hempcarbon and electro lite mix in one and place on the surface on tin aluminum sheet but you use carbon differently
Thank you very much for your video. I have a question for you. Is there any variation in the conductivity of the hemp in different strains of hemp? I have been cultivating hemp over 35 years and there is endless variety in each hybridization and I have been using an electromagnetic plasma field for a neg-entropic effect on the genetic structure of the hemp, so, I am wondering if there might be any variation between hemp strains, considering the rather exotic nature of the seed alteration.
I wrote a fantastic English paper back in 2004. For high school English and why we needed to be looking at the technology and economic growth of hemp products. She gave me an F because it wasn't an approved subject. 😂 now the question is how to have a stabilized charging system... I live in an area where I can build and test projects.
Bloody teachers have alot to answer for. I had a similar experience when I said nuclear was the cleanest form of energy production in Enviromental Studies. F. Years later in a Marcel Theroux docu, he gets Friends of the Earth to admit that nuclear is green.
how does the added carbon layer do for the cell that extends its performance so much? I understand increased conductivity, is that the only function? Also it is combined with the electrolyte?
This is Great stuff! Thank you for sharing! Is it possible to come in contact with you guys for a short interview? We are writing a book in Danish about Hemp/cannabis that is more updated, as the ones on the library is quite out dated. Thank you !
Came here from a Physics Girl video on renewable energy and wondered why this possibility isn't covered literally anywhere in hers or anyone else's research on renewables and/or better alternatives to lithium/ion technology, especially with the latest shortages on the metal and the very real possibility of it drying up entirely.

Subscribed. I can't believe you only have 32 subscribers that doesn't even make sense

this is exactly what i was looking for!! thank you for that!!
How awesome, do you have DIY battery model that will all could make?
Thank You
Now how did you charge the battery?
WOW, that is freaking amazing, the hemp just boost it so much, what is the procedure for making the hemp carbon?
I would assume the same way that you create char cloth
This is a fantastic video, thank you so much.
How does this compare to other carbon sources?
Do you have a comparison on the effectiveness of energy storage?

We don't need no education

I woulda came back years later and said so… phuck your F 🖕🏾

Hi Carl, it is possible to convert a lithium ion battery factory to hemp? Can we just switch lithium ion and put hemp instead?
No
thanks, very interesting
I have a question which always run trough my mind can you use the carbon powder and use tape
🤔
How did you activate the carbonized hemp? Thanks

So is this hemp carbon?
Is this a zinc-carbon "battery", or a zinc-air cell? This cell was not shown recharging. Is it a primary or secondary cell?
That is with carbonized hurd, have you tried with bast fibers, as in from the outer stalk?
How do you get hemp carbon? Is it easy as just simply burning it?
It should be the same process as making charcoal

@@vitoribeiro Thank you
has anyone tried to make this yet??????
Nice. Hemp and Medical Cannabis for the future so all can grow it
wait till you think hemp piezoelectric materials. gets goooooood.
How is this not the future!......
*Elon musk*
The extra electrolyte is what is doing the job. I call BS on this demo.
dump? are you trying to sell more weed
