The flek has no distortion, while the mir has some corner distortion. Also, another important info i think is that the mir doesn't have a filter thread. Im thinking of buying a 20mm vintage, which lenses do u recommend other than these two?
well, I must say, that you've got a good MIR20. I've got tree of them, and all are different. I mean sharpness, distortions, chromatic abberations etc. Even the build quality is different.
Great comparison! Thanks for that. I like the little softer look of the Zeiss, also the much nicer and softer lens flaires it produces.
Keep up the good work! Much appreciated. I preferred the MIR for 20mm, but the 35mm Flek 2.4 is an absolute favorite of mine!

that was fantastic. Both lenses are great, I would still go for Zeiss, as they are priced the same
I preferred the Mir… sharper and better colors
Which would you pick for interiors and architecture where straight lines need to be straight… minimum distortion across the frame?
Amazing
Nice test and shots, thank you.
I cant find the MIR but I found a Flektogon for 120$
where did you find one for 120??!! please find another one for me :)
It was a heavily used one but the image quality is still fine, on eBay :-)
and one for me

To my eyes, Mir is better wide open, but stop down Zeiss win. Mir also has rainbow flare
L'amour existe
