God SAID, “Let US make man in OUR image and OUR likeness” The Scripture says in Malachi 2:10, we have one father and ONE God who created us all. The verse after Genesis 1:26 which says US then says in Genesis 1:27 God created man in HIS(singular) OWN image, NOT THEIR IMAGE AND THEIR LIKENESS. The scripture answers ITSELF. @@aletheiaministries2020 That’s His expression, does not necessarily mean He IS more than one person. whereas in the other scripture they are direct statements of fact.
The answer is obvious. If you’re concluding that The scriptures usage of “us” in the creation man is in reference to three persons in the Godhead then It should be reflected in what he created. So… HOW MANY PERSONS WAS ADAM? Duh

Correct interpretation of Genesis 1:26-27 The Creation: Genesis 1:26-27 26 And God (elohiym - plural intensive) said, Let us make (asah - fashion) man in our image (tselem - of resemblance), after our likeness (demuth - in the likeness of): and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God (elohiym - plural intensive) created man in his own image (tselem - of resemblance), in the image (tselem - of resemblance) of God (elohiym - plural intensive) created he him; male and female created he them. Note: Elohiym: 1. Plural 2. Plural intensive - meaning singular or plurality of majesty. One 1⃣ God created us 👪 in His own image 👨. @@aletheiaministries2020When a noun is all-encompassing or beyond measure, it can be pluralized to express its magnitude. An example of this occurring is in the Hebrew word for life. Chayim means life, and it is plural. Chayim does not mean lives, but the pluralization of the noun emphasizes that it is not referring to one life but life in the greater sense. I have never heard in my life someone in my life try to rationalize the plural intensive (singular) suffix Yod Mem means plurality... Words like Elohim, shamayim, chayim, and mayim are treated grammatically but also the context of the Hebrew language. The plural suffix of yod mem, yet again, is added to express how the word represents a thought that is immeasurable, cannot be contained, and limitless! The fact that a Trinitarian would debate these simple truths of basic Hebrew to native Hebrew speaking Jews is beyond me. It's also beyond me how many Messianics are such cowards to uphold the truth, that they'd rather adopt the Trinity than to be an outcast for the Messiach. Very disturbing times we live in, indeed. If you're a Trinitarian, you need to repent, because you are NOT saved. Yehovah (God the Father) became our Salvation by speaking His Word (Seed, Luke 8:11) into a Son. The Father is the God in the Son. What makes the Son man, is Him having human mind and a human body. His Spirit is the Father! The Father fully embraced humanity through His Son!

The Nsama spirit, breath of life, made our lifeless body of dust a living soul Genesis 2:7 WHEREAS the Rhuach spirit given and being formed within us can leave and return while we are living and we don’t die Judges 15:19 and 1st Corinthians 5:4 for instance?
Some thoughts as an ex-oneness: - Focusing on plural language (e.g. Gen. 1:26) is overused when witnessing. Instead, focus on the pre-existence of the Son. Showing the Son existed before the incarnation distinct from the Father undermines the oneness perspective. You can do this through things like the Angel of YHWH being called God, YHWH referring to YHWH, and the numerous passages showing distinctions between the Son and Father in the NT. Notably the Son never says He’s the Father and the Father never says He’s the Son. - The oneness guy kept going to Deut. 6:4. First, Trinitarians believe in one God. However echad, translated "one", often refers to unity rather than numerical one (e.g. Genesis 2:24). The New Testament teaches the same thing (e.g. John 17 believers are one just as the Son and Father are one). - The Angel of the LORD (and the Word of the LORD) is _all over_ the Old Testament and is distinct from God but called God. In Genesis 16, the Angel of the LORD is later called "the LORD who spoke to [Hagar]". In Genesis 31, the Angel of the LORD says "I am the God of Bethel" (Bethel meaning the house of God). In Judges 13:21-22, Manoah "knew that he was the angel of the LORD" but told his wife "we have seen God". - Jesus literally says He and the Father are separate persons (ἄνθρωπος) in John 8:17-18 and fulfill the law by being two "men". A plan/mode/role/manifestation cannot fulfill this law. - Philippians 2:6-7 reveals that the Son, existing in the form of God, emptied Himself by taking on the likeness of man. A plan/mode/role/manifestation cannot "count equality with God a thing to be grasped" nor relinquish this form voluntarily. Saying Jesus was a man possessed by the Father there makes the passage even more incoherent (a man didn’t count equality with God a thing to be grasped?). Christ preexisted and voluntarily relinquished His form for our sake. - In John 6 alone, Jesus claims to have been sent by the Father 8 times. You can’t be sent without first existing. In the same chapter, Jesus came down from heaven not to do His own will but the One who sent Him. For those who might think this language is figurative, John 16 clarifies that it is not. - A favorite passage of many oneness, John 10:30, ironically contradicts their view in the verses immediately before it. Oneness theology often claims that Jesus is the human manifestation of the Father. However, how could Jesus say He gives eternal life and keeps believers in His hands while also referring to the Father’s hands in the same context? Further, wouldn’t Revelation 5:12-13 be idolatry if Jesus is the "human part" of the Father? - If God is perfectly unchangeable and God is love, who did the Father love before creation? In the oneness view, God depends on His creation for some attributes.
Have you ever considered a spiritual U-turn towards the Oneness of God or the Jewish Faith after listening to this guy refute the false teaching of the Trinity? Let's talk about this "Let us make man in our image" business that Trinitarians love tossing around like a theological Frisbee. It sounds fancy, but let's get real - God is as singular as a single scoop of vanilla ice cream. The "us" and "our" isn't some celestial committee meeting; it's a shout-out to the heavenly host, the angels. Just like when you shout, "We're going to have a party!" you're not inviting yourself - you're inviting your guests! Consider this: Jesus and His disciples were straightforward in their belief in the one God without needing a divine triathlon. They didn't complicate it with the idea of a celestial Three-in-One, like some cosmic cocktail. Instead, they kept it simple - one God, no need for a divine circus. Let's be clear: praying to a Triune God is like trying to dial a phone with three disconnected numbers - it's just not in the divine directory. God's oneness is like the best Wi-Fi connection - strong, singular, and all-encompassing. This should make you feel secure and protected in your faith. So, whether listening to a street preacher or reading the scriptures, remember that God's oneness is the real deal.
Hebrews 1:3 says Jesus is the express image of God's person (SINGULAR, not a multiplicity of persons). To say that there's more persons in the Godhead would mean that Jesus is the image of the Son only, and that he does not represent the entirety of the Godhead. But God has only one indivisible person and that person is revealed in Jesus Christ, for in Him dwelleth ALL THE FULNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY (see Colosians 2:9). When you look at Jesus, you don't see the Son only, but also the Father (see John 14:9) because Jesus and the Father are one (see John 10:30). Humans having one person in our being is a reflection of our creator also having one person in Him. Romans 1:20 KJV For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being UNDERSTOOD by the things that are made, EVEN HIS ETERNAL POWER and GODHEAD; I'd like to address the issue of Gen.1:26 but I'm in the office so maybe later. God bless you all
Heb.1:3 doesn’t refer to Jesus. It refers to the Son (specifically the Son incarnate as the Messiah) Who, as the Second Person of the One Tri-Personal Divine Creator, YHWH, incarnate as the man, Jesus of Nazareth, is the radiance of God’s Glory and the exact representation of His Being. If the Messiah is NOT God Himself, incarnate as a man, then how could the Messiah possibly be Emmanuel - God with us (Matt.1:22-23)?! The Bible declares that there is One Divine Creator God (Deut.6:4; Isa.43:10-13) and that the Father IS God, that the Son/Messiah IS God and that the Holy Spirit IS God. There is NOT a single verse anywhere throughout the Scriptures that explicitly and unequivocally states either that the Father ALONE is God, that the Son/Messiah ALONE is God or that ONLY the Holy Spirit is God and without such a verse it is absolutely impossible to legitimately refute the Tri-Personal (Trinitarian) Nature of the One True God?! Your post is essentially incoherent and contradictory? Either God is Mono-Personal (which contradicts the Divine Revelation of Scripture that God Exists as Tri-Personal [Father, Son and Holy Spirit] rather than Mono-Personal) or He’s not?! You can’t eat your cake and have it? You need to be clear about what it is that you actually believe? For anything to be true it MUST be internally consistent and non-self-contradictory. Your declarations about God are definitely not internally consistent nor non-self-contradictory? Your time would be much better spent learning what the Bible ALSO says rather than wasting your time just learning what the Bible says (according to your own theological presuppositions)?! @@simonline1194 For your 1st paragraph, I can't see how Heb.1:3 DOES NOT REFER to Jesus. If we both agree the Messiah is God manifest in the flesh, that Jesus is the Messiah, and the Messiah is the Son, and the Son is Jesus, so how can Heb.1:3 cannot be Jesus? Unless you believe the incarnation of what you call the 2nd person is separate from the identity of the man Jesus. I believe it's you who's being inconsistent and self-contradictory here. I totally agree with your 2nd paragraph, and I made no such argument/claim that the Father, nor the Son, nor the Holy Spirit alone is God. I think it was obvious that my view of God is Mono-personal. To clearly state my case, here's a quick run on what I believe in: There is one God, who relates Himself to us as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost all at the same time without having to divide Himself into separate persons/different centers of consciousness. He is the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration. That one same God who created everything (Father) came into the world and manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16) as the Son Jesus, the Messiah, and is still with us as the Holy Ghost leading us to a new life. You'll never find reference in the scriptures that God was individually identified as God-the-Father, but "God, the Father/our Father", or Jesus identified as God-the Son, but always "Son of God" by virtue of the manner of His conception (Luke 1:35) nor was the Holy Spirit God-the-Holy Spirit, but "God is a spirit", "that Spirit", "God's Spirit". Instead of "God the Father, Son, Holy Ghost", look at Him as "God IS Father, IS Son, IS Holy Ghost", just as He is Saviour, friend, provider, protector etc all at the same time as one personal being. He has one indivisible person, on one throne, with one name. Jesus commanded His disciples to baptize believers in the singular "NAME" of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" (Matt.28:19), which shows these 3 are titles/roles taken up by God in relation to us, but what is that name to which men should be baptized in? Peter executed that command by baptizing them in the name of Jesus (Acts 2:38), the believers in Samaria were baptized in the name of Jesus (Acts 8:16), Cornelius was baptized "in the name of the Lord" (Acts 10:48), disciples in Ephesus were rebaptized into Jesus name (Acts19:5), and in many other passages. If Jesus (the Son) is a separate person from the Father & the Holy Ghost, then the Apostles have done a grave mistake in baptizing people only in the name of the Son, disobeying the commandment in Mat.28:19. But because Jesus is the FULLNESS of Godhead (col.2:9), and not just a member of the Godhead, they committed no error. Jesus is not in the Godhead, the Godhead IS IN JESUS. I hope I made my point clear brother, at least this time. Thank you
Trinitarian is saying that the Torah contradicts itself by saying it starts with a plurality. Please listen, the bible does not contradict itself, period.
@@aletheiaministries2020 Why does the next verse go on to use singular pronouns such as "his" and "he"? Genesis 1:26 is not the defense of the trinity you think it is. Many reputable trinitarian scholars would agree. I'm not a trinitarian, but even from a trinitarian perspective you cannot say it reveals the trinity because 1) the supposed revelation of the trinity did not come until the NT (which didn't happen either but that's for another time), and 2) the Jews, including Moses and the patriarchs before him, did not believe nor teach anything except strict monotheism. To read into this verse a revelation of the plurality of God is actually quite absurd.
I guess, it would really depend which position the trinitarian holds to in regards to humanity, dichotomy or trichotomy. Being a trichotomist I would say it is seen in the soul, spirit, and body. So closely woven together that we would be unaware of the presence of the other two if God's word didn't enlighten us. While I believe there are additional components making that verse complete, that is one. Where do you see oneness in "Our image"?
If there is only one God and that God is the Father (Malachi 2:10), and if Jesus is God, then it logically follows that Jesus is the revelation of the Father 1. Isaiah 9:6 calls the Son the everlasting Father. Jesus is the Son prophesied about and there is only one Father (Malachi 2:10; Ephesians 4:6), so Jesus must be God the Father revealed in the Son 2. Colossians 2:9 proclaims that all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus. The Godhead includes the role of the Father, so the Father must dwell in Jesus JESUS TAUGHT THAT HE WAS THE FATHER REVEALED 3. Once, when Jesus was talking about the Father, the Pharisees asked, “Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also” (John 8:19). He went on to say, “I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.” (John 8:24) - Jesus was really identifying himself with the “I AM” of Exodus 3:14. The Jews not understanding, asked “Who art thou?” Jesus answered, “Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning” (John 8:25). However, “they understood not that he spake to them of the Father (John 8:27). Jesus tried to explain that he is the revelation of the Father, the I AM, and that if they did not accept him as God they would die in their sins. 4. Jesus said that “I and my Father are one” (John 10:30). Jesus was not only the Son in His humanity but also Father in his deity 5. Jesus stated that John 12:45, “And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me.” In other words, if a person sees Jesus as to His deity, he see that Father. 6. Jesus told his disciples, “If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.” Philip asked Jesus, to show them the Father, and they would be satisfied (John 14:8). Jesus answered, “Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that seeth seen me hath seen the Father; and how slyest thou then, Shew us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works sake” (John 14:9-11). - This emphatically claims that Christ is the Father manifested in the Flesh. Philip did not understand that the Father is an invisible Spirit and that the only way that a person could ever see Him would be through the person of Jesus Christ. 7. Jesus said, “The Father is in me, and I in him” (John 10:38). 8. Jesus promised to be the Father of all overcomers (Revelation 21:6-7). 9. Jesus said “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” The Greek word translated “comfortless” is orphanos, which is defined as “bereaved (‘orphans’), i.e. parentless” Jesus was saying that I will not leave you as orphans, or fatherless: I will come to you.” Jesus speaking as the Father incarnate, promised that He would leave his disciples fatherless 10. Jesus prophesied that He would resurrect His own body from the dead in three days (John 2:19-21), yet Peter preached that God raised up Jesus from the dead (Acts 2:24) 11. Jesus said He would send the Comforter to us (John 16:7), but He also said the Father would send the Comforter (John 14:26). 12. The Father alone can draw people to God (John 6:44), yet Jesus said that He would draw all people to God (John 12:32). 13. Jesus will raise up all believers at the last day (John 6:40), yet God the Father quickens (gives life to) the dead and will raise us up (Romans 4:17; I Corinthians 6:14) 14. Jesus promised to answer believers prayer (John 14:14), yet He said the Father would answer prayer (John 16:23). 15. Christ is our sanctifier (Ephesians 5:26), yet the Father sanctifies us (Jude 1). 16. I John 3:1, 5 states that the Father loved us and was manifested to take away our sins, yet we know that it was Christ who was manifested in the world to take away sin (John 1:29-31). We must understand that Jesus has a dual nature. He is both Spirit and flesh, God and man, Father and Son. On his human side He is the Son of man; on his divine side He is the Son of God and is the Father dwelling in flesh
Is a person a spirit? “It can be” 😂 why I’m not trinitarian bc u compared human person to God which is condemned by scripture. Ehad in context means 1 Alone not 1 in group. Bc psalms states God is alone 20+ Scriptures say God is alone. And no spirits with him. So we add that with Deut 6:4 ehad 1 Alone like the scripture states.
The problem for non trinitarians is not those passages about God being "alone" but it is about the passages where God is mentioned in the plural and where two Yhwhs are interacting with each other at the same time but from different locations. How do you explain those texts?? For example Genesis 19:24.
@@sion1677 In Mathew 28:19 Jesus said baptize in the name of father son and Holy Ghost. But in acts Peter said baptize in Jesus name. But in the Bible there is not one place where someone was baptized in father son and Holy Ghost contrary to Jesus name Peter, paul acts 19 1-6, Philip acts 8:12 all baptized in Jesus name. Now why didn’t the early church baptize in Jesus name ? In Mathew 28:19 it says in the name not in the names that means there is only one name JESUS. Didn’t say baptize in the titles father isn’t a name Jesus is. Can I get and Amen 🙏 Then all of his disciples baptized went out and baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. In the Bible no one ever prayed by saying in the name of father son and holy ghost they use in the name of Jesus bc that is where the power is. All the power meaning the Holy Spirit is in that name which is JESUS!!
Among other things said here I would also point out that even conservative historians believe the book of Matthew was written 30 plus years after the events of acts. So there could have been some change in language. When Peter told the crowd to repent and be baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ and was incorrect the other twelve should have corrected him but they did not. Why? Because they knew exactly who Jesus was.
LET US" is mentioned in the bible three times and in the 66 books does not say who the US is. So now you have to do some study to see where the US would be referenced in the 66 books Genesis 1:26 ( let "US" create man) Genesis 3:22 (man became one of "US") Genesis 11:4-7 (let "US" go down and confound there language) You will find the answer in the book of Jasher. I referenced this book because this book is referenced in the bible 3 times. Joshua 10:13 2 Samuel 1:18 The book of jasher is basically a book that gives you more in-depth information and was referenced in the Bible by other prophets. Jasher 9:32 and God said to the 70 Angels who stood foremost before him to those who were near to him saying "come let us descend and confuse their tongues so that no one man will not understand the language of his neighbor" and they did so to them. So in conclusion when the Bible says let us that is God speaking to his angels to do his commandments. There is only one God and God only can create and he also uses his angels to do his work. Trinitarians believed for many years that the US must be referring to other person but that has always been a lie. God is one and he is alone. But when God speaks his angels do what he commands them to do let's look at scripture on this. Psalm 103:20 bless the Lord ye his angels that excel in strength that do his Commandments hearkening unto the voice of his word. 2 kings 19:32-35 God said I will defend the city and in the next verse shows that he used his angel to do it. In conclusion again God is one and there is no three persons just because it says us that has always been referring to his angels
1:44 Why did God bring me tribes of Israel into Egypt? God didn’t. God didn’t specify to Abraham where his descendants would be for 400 years, nor did God tell Jacob, his sons, and his family to go to Egypt, they decided on their own.
This trinitarian concept is worldly wisdom and is Far from the true expression of God. When the teaching of trinity begin? Who started it? Where was the word trinity first used? Which of the Prophets or even original Jews taught that the US is Genesis refers to separate persons? Did God have help in making man when he used the term "LET US MAKE MAN" or did he make man as well as the heavens and earth "ALONE" and "BY HIMSELF"? Yes God said "LET US MAKE MAN" but here is a question... Was "THEM" that made man or "HE" that made man? The answer is there in the same chapter in Genesis. What the bible calls mystery, Catholics and hose that follow call it "Trinity"; because of a total misunderstanding of difficult language.
The truth of the trinity existed from eternity past as the eternal God is trinity. The teaching began as soon as that God began revealing himself to his creatures which would be in Genesis 1&2. The first use of the term in the sense I am using it I believe was with Tertullian in the 2nd and 3rd centuries a.d. however that doesn't mean much in light of other teachings from the bible that are not explicitly in the Bible such as "the bible" is not in the bible or "the rapture", yet the bible teaches these truths. And Jews did believe in "two powers in heaven " based on verses I mention in this video. See Alan Segals book on that topic. Jews wrestled with these texts but when Christianity was established the rabbis condemned those who believed a certain thing about these texts and labeled them "min" or heretics.
And did God have help when creating man? Let me ask you this, of the scores of texts that tell us that God created the heavens and the earth and everything in them how many texts tell us that Angels or other beings created anything?
@@aletheiaministries2020 About angels creating I say no. God was doing self counsel when he said LET US MAKE MAN. Ephesians tells us "..who worketh all things according to the counsel of HIS OWN WILL". When he said "Let us go down" then he was talking to his angels.

This is the absolute foundation of all legitimate Biblical theology. The Bible ALSO declares that the Father IS God, that the Son/Messiah IS God and that the Holy Spirit IS God. Yet, there is NOT a single verse found anywhere throughout the Scriptures that explicitly and unequivocally declares either that the Father ALONE is God, that the Son/Messiah ALONE is God or that ONLY the Holy Spirit is God and without such a verse it is absolutely impossible to legitimately refute the Tri-Personal (Trinitarian) Nature of the One True God?! GOD is One Spirit, Three Persons , Hypostatic Union, never separated, always distinct. Like I'm One human with distinctly 3 parts. Body soul and spirit
@@aletheiaministries2020 I repent to God every day and pray for understanding and wisdom. It's also not a heresy to try and use allegory to explain away things that are not of human physical matter or creation. Jesus does it and shouldn't need to repent for describing spirits as birds because they are not physical birds or the kingdom of heaven as a mustard seed grown into a giant tree. If You can't understand the comparison to the point you feel offence , then judge me , this is something that you should consider and realize maybe there is something inside of you that needs light shined upon so that you can forgive it repent in order to grow closer to Christ. Saint Paul uses Body Parts to describe the One Body of Christ. Should he repent? Do you see what I'm saying. 🤔 maybe open yourself to trying to understand what I'm saying, it's Hypostatic Union, which Hypostasis is a Greek word used in writing the New Testament, to describe being One yet distinctly different at the same time. But using terminology that you need dictionaries to understand isn't effective to trying to help another understand a concept of God being three persons , being plural, yet never separated in essence and energy. You could try to see I'm trying to help , and give me grace, and instead help give understanding, instead of condemning me to heresy. All that does is create division and offence , a fence, between us, when we should be different parts, members, yet One and not separated in one Body, in Christ. Praise God and our Lord Jesus Christ, let us all repent and turn from sin and walk in love, and in Spirit. Thank you for your message. God bless you. We all have our part..as does God the Father, his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, in their plan of our Salvation.
When a noun is all-encompassing or beyond measure, it can be pluralized to express its magnitude. An example of this occurring is in the Hebrew word for life. Chayim means life, and it is plural. Chayim does not mean lives, but the pluralization of the noun emphasizes that it is not referring to one life but life in the greater sense.
The doctrine of the trinity is not merely based upon the plural references to God in the Bible. That is part of the case, but the other part is that the Bible tells us of multiple Yhwhs present at once in different scenarios in redemptive history. Like at Genesis 19:24, Psalm 110.
@@aletheiaministries2020 The Bible doesn't tell "us" of multiple Yehovahs. An army of one, and one unified army are NOT the same thing. Obviously the Fathers Holy Spirit (Angel of the LORD) can manifest as temporary theophanies that us humans can see and behold. Does this also mean that there's another "God the fill in the blank at this point" in Hell? Or was David writing about the omnipresence of the same God? Again, stop paganizing the Bible.
Sharing my opinion serves what purpose as a debate? Father I pray for this young man, that you would open his eyes to your revelation knowledge and truth.

Gen.1:26-27 God was speaking to His Divine Council and He says ‘our image’ because the members of the Divine Council are ALSO made in the image of God. Nowhere do the Scriptures declare that humans are made in the image of both God and angels?! 🤦♂️ That is assumed because of an incorrect understanding of Gen.1:26-27. The popular misconception is that Gen.1:26-27 is One Member of the Trinity communicating with another Member (or, the other Two Members) of the Trinity but the Nature of God is such that God does NOT communicate between the Three Persons of the Trinity as discarnate using language? Language is for the benefit of finite mono-personal creatures (such as angels and humans). Humans are made in the same image (status not attribute) as that of God and angels but the image is that of God alone. Simonline 🇬🇧🤔🙏😀👍
Troy is assuming that Gen. 1: 26 is referring to plurality of persons. This is flawed for several reasons but it requires one to believe in "eternal sonship". This is false doctrine because you cannot have a son, without a mother Galatians 4:4. Eternal sonship reveals the lack of true scriptural understanding but is accepted to "make" the doctrine of the trinity work. Where is the word trinity in the bible? Its not there...you already know that. Does it say anywhere in the bible that God is One? Case closed. Logic and reason will never stand with the revelation of scripture.
There is a reason why there was no mention of Jesus nor the Holy Spirit. We don't get the Revelation of who God is from the old Testament. The reason why scriptures in the old Testament will refer to one name, one God at a time was because there were many different gods. It is just like any Christian today who says "Thus say the Lord God of Israel", they ain't speaking for God, because He no longer speaks that way to His children, He used to speak like that through the prophets in the old covenant, in the new covenant you will never find those words.
10:45 The Torah contradicts more than one who is God, yes 👍 or no 👎? God allowed no Other God to be known by name other than as Elohim or Jehovah/Yahweh/LORD UNTIL God began to set the stage for the coming New Testament by speech such as a son shall be called Mighty God Isaiah 9:6, the Son of man shall rule alone over mankind Daniel 7:13-14, John 5:22, a son will be born who shall be called Emmanuel meaning God with us Matthew 1:23, if you know the name of him and his Son who established the ends of the earth Proverbs 30:4.

In Revelation 6:16-17 the Bible says, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of THEIR wrath has come…” In Luke 23:46 the Bible says, “Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into YOUR hands I commit my spirit.” Is Jesus talking to Himself here? In John 16:28 Jesus says, “I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father.” Notice Jesus did not say, “I left heaven and became the son, and now I am going back to heaven to become the Father again. In John 16:38 Jesus says, “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” This verse is saying Jesus has His own will and the Father has His. Yes, they don’t disagree, of course, but still this verse speaks of two wills. In John 14:31 Jesus says, “…but so that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me.” In John 5:19 Jesus says, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.” In John 1:1 the Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was WITH God, and the Word was God.” If Oneness was true, shouldn’t this verse say, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God.” John 6:44 says, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.” Again, if oneness was true, shouldn’t this verse say, “No one can come to me, unless I draw him.” In John 10:15, Jesus says, “…even as the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.” Matthew 26:29 says, “And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” Read for yourself; does this sound like oneness, or is Jesus having conversations with the Father within the triune God-head?
This sounds like Jesus is praying to The Father, as a separate someone. NOT numerically one but, one in unity. It also sounds like Jesus pre-existed as the eternal son of God prior to the incarnation.
Thanks. I See absolute one in the Old Testament yet, I see Jesus as being a separate person from the Father in the new testament, and The Holy Ghost as 3rd person, sometimes sent by Jesus, and sometimes sent by The Father.

If you believe there are three persons in Heaven, you are mistaken. There is ONE God, and none beside Him. He is ONE. The word says the fullness of the godhead is revealed in Him (Jesus)
How am I mistaken when more than one YHWH is mentioned in this verse in the torah Genesis 19:24? Read it for yourself. There is one Yhwh on earth and also one in heaven.
@@aletheiaministries2020 So you believe when Jesus died His body stayed here? You’re wavering in your doctrine. Are you even sure what to believe? Genesis 19:24 says “Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven;” Nothing to do with “more than one YHWH.” God is one. Every time the characteristic God is mentioned, they refer to Him as One. Not three in unity, BUT ONE ALONE. Like I said, there are not three persons, gods, spirits in Heaven. Jesus is at the right hand of God. The right hand is the main hand. God in flesh was his right hand moving amongst the earth. When He went back to Heaven, Jesus sent his OWN spirit back. The one and only Jesus, is speaking to the saints, when he says let us. Another correction for many of you, when it says make man doesn't mean you are now made. We are in a process of being made, in his likeness and his image, which would be a spirit.
John Phillips How could Jesus be speaking to the saints who were not yet made/created? Genesis 1:26-27. The sons of God in Job 38:7 sons of God sang for joy at the setting of the foundation of the earth; Job 1 sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Genesis 6 the sons of God saw the daughters of men are thought 💭 to be the angels of God (before some of the angels rebelled and left their first estate Jude 6, Ezekiel 28:11-14-15-19, and Isaiah 14:7-20). True TRUE, the saints/believers in Christ Jesus are being made continuously continually into the image of Christ Jesus as by the Spirit. But BUT BEFORE Before before we are being made in the image of Jesus Christ 2nd Corinthians 3:18, Man was made/created/ formed of the dust of the ground Genesis 2:7, but But BUT AFTER After after sin, man is now Now NOW MADE/Formed FROM THE DEPTHS/Lowest Parts OF THE EARTH/from where Satan was cast Isaiah 14:19, Revelation 12:9.
Gen.1:26-27 is definitely NOT ‘Jesus talking to the saints’?! 🤦♂️ As Leonard says, it is YHWH talking to the members of His Divine Council who, along with humans, are also made (past tense) in the image of God. The image of God is a status rather than an attribute (or attributes). It is the status of co-regent with the Divine Creator, humans of this realm and the Divine Council co-regents of the spiritual realm (of the rest of the elohim (other than YHWH)). Eventually, when all things are restored, the two realms that were separated as a result of the Fall will be reunited back into one realm and the angels and redeemed humans will be one family under God. Secondly, Scripture says ‘So God created Man in His own image, in the Image of God He created him. Male and Female He created them (past tense). Creation is not a continuous process. Bobby Rothman what about John 8:17-18 ? Jesus and the Father are two men in the law/Scripture, having each his own body and spirit of man within him: Jesus has his earthly body and spirit of man within him from birth Zechariah 12:1, and the Father has his own spirit body/God is a Spirit John 4:24 beforeCreation John 1:1-3, and his own spirit of man/God within him 1st Corinthians 2:11, even as the ‘Word was God’ would have had while fellowshipping with reciprocally responding nearby to God/ton Theon: the God John 1:1-2.
The scripture says Whosoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God 2jn1:9 Jesus said the Father is the only TRUE GOD I and my Father are ONE I come in my Father's name and you receive me not , Jesus said i am the Son of God (Not God the Son) Jesus said the Holy Ghost is comforter (God the Holy Ghost) Jesus said God is Spirit (Not person) Jesus never taught One God in 3persons or 3personalities
4:21 There are plural Holy Spirit’s : God is Holy and a Spirit = A Holy Spirit, but God is not called the Holy Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit even though God is A Holy Spirit. God’s Spirit is called the Holy Spirit of God is God the Fathers spirit of man or Spirit of God which is in him 1st Corinthians 2.11-b. God told the Israelites to be holy as he is holy Leviticus 11:44 and God wouldn’t tell someone, anyone, to do what God didn’t give them the ability to do, would he? Not so. Jesus was holy because he did always those things that please him (the Father) John 8:29 as Jesus said of himself. Then the Spirit of Jesus Christ would have been also another Holy Spirit, yes 👍? LOOK WE ARE MADE IN HIS IMAGE WHATS THE BIG DEBATE!!! 1: HEALTHY ME AND YOU WALKING AROUND [BODY+ SOUL+ SPIRIT] 2: YOU OR ME INA COMA! [ BODY+ SPIRIT-SOUL] 3: DEATH [ BODY-SOUL-SPIRIT]
When God said "Let us make man in our image and likeness," he was statingn his eternal purpose. The likeness of God was not in the first Adam, but in the second Adam (Christ), 1 Corinthians 15: 47, 48. And we are workers with him, 2 Cor. 6: 1. So, Paul wrote, "My children, which with I an again in labour until Christ is formed in 4 : 19, see also Ephesians 4 : 11 - 13. No, God was not speaking to the other members of a trinity, but to us!
Father is the term only because the term son exist, no son no father, father is term for always, before time, son is considering the factor time, the visible image
God has never been a trinity of persons but He has a duality of Spirit. God is Spirit/ spirit, soul, and body. The Angel of the Lord in the O.T. was God in a visible form. The Angel of the Lord has God speaking to the prophets in the first person but God also refers to as a separate part of Him that can act on his own according to God's purpose. A trinity of three persons, by Gods definition of a person by the creation of Adam is an error. Otherwise there would have been three persons standing in the garden. This is how the Son can be God but not the Father. Jesus said, " I and the Father are one". They are spiritually and still be two Spirits joined as one. The Father is an " invisible Spirit" (Col.1:25) but He has a visible manifestation and that is the Son of God. The Holy Spirit is also invisible meaning that the only visible manifestation of God man will ever be will be the glorified body of Jesus Christ " for in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. Jesus Said, " If you have seen me then you have seen the Father". The Lord either said what He meant and meant what He said or He was mistaken.
Robert Nieten I agree ☝️ God is a Spirit John 4:24 God/ the Father is a man John 8:17-18 having his own spirit of man within him, as man has his own spirit of man within him, 1st Corinthians 2:11. No! Stop making God in man’s image! You are starting from the finite mono-personal human creature and using that to set parameters around God?! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ We are made in God’s Image not vice versa. God is infinitely greater than any of His creatures. Any entity that is just a bigger, non-physical version of a human being cannot possibly be God?! God has revealed Himself as Tri-Personal [Father, Son and Holy Spirit] and we dare not redefine Him in our image? One would expect the Infinite and Eternal Divine Creator to be radically different from us. Being Infinite, there is NOTHING to say that God CANNOT Exist as Tri-Personal?! We MUST follow His lead. If God didn’t reveal Himself to us then we would know absolutely NOTHING about God but He HAS revealed Himself to us and He has revealed Himself as Tri-Personal. Mrdude 35 the book of jasher says US wee God’s angels 👼???? What’s your quote? The Bible shows Only God and the Word created all things in the beginning, John 1:1-3, and Genesis chapters 1-2, 1st Corinthians 8:6. And man was created In Gods’ image - image of God/ton Theon I appreciate your response. and the Word/God [Theos]; only the image of the God of Israel is known from Genesis 1:26-27. In the Hebrew language a plural pronoun followed by a singular verb makes the plural pronoun understood, written, and spoken as a singular pronoun. This applies to Genesis chapter 1, Isaiah 54:5, and Exodus 20:2-3 among others, I am sure there are others.
@@mrdude3540 you have not sent me a quote….. from Jasher. The Spirit of God did create also; Job 33:4-Elihu-, and Psalm 104:29-30 -young lions, swimming creatures, men, ships, among others, from their (genetic) dust; however, a Creator/God creates/makes the original and copiers ‘create’ copies of the original creations/created things. Neither The Spirit of God, nor any other (including God the Father who made Eve, a copy of the original, Adam, with variations Genesis 1:27, 2:7) is so identified as a Creator/God because of having made copies. The most succinct/basic definition of ‘god’ is ‘an object of worship’, as shown in Isaiah 44:17 ‘And the residue thereof he makes a god, his graven image: he falls down to, and worshipped, and prayed to it, and said, Deliver me; for you are my god.’ As Romans 1:25 makes mention: ‘Who, changed the truth into a lie and worshipped and served the creature (creation) more than the creator who is blessed for evermore. Amen. ‘ Therefore, a creator is to/should be worshipped and served and, as such, is a god.
@@mrdude3540 I don’t have the book of Jasher: Jasher is not 👎 in the Catholic or Protestant Bible and so I wouldn’t think it to be authoritative Scripture (interesting perhaps 🤔, but not credible). Unless you provide me the quote, and it sounds like the angels are making copies as God the Father, and the Holy Spirit of God did, it wouldn’t make any of them/copiers a Creator.

@@aletheiaministries2020 That’s His expression, does not necessarily mean He IS more than one person. whereas in the other scripture they are direct statements of fact.

There is NOT a single verse anywhere throughout the Bible that explicitly and unequivocally declares that the Father ALONE is God, that the Son/Messiah ALONE is God or that ONLY the Holy Spirit is God and without such a verse it is impossible to legitimately refute the Tri-Personal (Trinitarian) Nature of God?!

Correct interpretation of Genesis 1:26-27
The Creation:
Genesis 1:26-27
26 And God (elohiym - plural intensive) said, Let us make (asah - fashion) man in our image (tselem - of resemblance), after our likeness (demuth - in the likeness of): and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
27 So God (elohiym - plural intensive) created man in his own image (tselem - of resemblance), in the image (tselem - of resemblance) of God (elohiym - plural intensive) created he him; male and female created he them.
Note:
Elohiym:
1. Plural
2. Plural intensive - meaning singular or plurality of majesty.
One 1⃣ God created us 👪 in His own image 👨.
That one 1⃣ God is our Lord Jesus Christ 👑 the creator 👪 of heaven ⛅ and earth 🌎.
Correction: God only refers to Himself as singular. Let us make man in our image. There was only one God, so who was God speaking to? Answer: God told the Heavenly Host or Angels to make Man in their image.
Read Isaiah 45:5
I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the LORD, and there is none else. No new Math, No separate Twin brother Next to God, just God alone
Elohim is not always used or meant as a plural…. Good grief

Bible teaches on singular person not pural persons.
@Vincent Vermillion
All three persons on full display in this scripture
And when Jesus was baptized, immediately he went up from the water, and behold, the heavens were opened to him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming to rest on him; and behold, a voice from heaven said, “This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”
Matthew 3:16-17 ESV
God the Son being baptized, God the Holy spirit descending on him and God the Father speaking from heaven.
@Vincent Vermillion negative, The Lord your God is one, the one here is the word echod which means a compound union it is also referenced in Genesis Adam and eve became one, again the word used is echod they made a compound union. There is one God made up of three distinct persons, if you reject the Son God then you reject the Father who sent him.
13:11 man’s spirit is our consciousness? By what Scripture? The Nsama breath or spirit of life gave us consciousness but is Not Our Consciousness.
13:16 because we are centers of consciousness we are spirits? Not
Without our spirit we don’t have a center of consciousness? Which spirit: the Nsama spirit OR the Rhuach spirit? The Nsama spirit, breath of life, made our lifeless body of dust a living soul Genesis 2:7 WHEREAS the Rhuach spirit given and being formed within us can leave and return while we are living and we don’t die Judges 15:19 and 1st Corinthians 5:4 for instance?
Some thoughts as an ex-oneness:
- Focusing on plural language (e.g.
It talking about God will and wisdom.
Romans 1:20 KJV
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being UNDERSTOOD by the things that are made, EVEN HIS ETERNAL POWER and GODHEAD;
I'd like to address the issue of Gen.1:26 but I'm in the office so maybe later.

Thank you

8 chapter or proverb tell us who Bible is talking about .
Just ask a Trinitarian where is the other two persons in man, because man was made in the image of God, right.
There are three persons one God, its s till one God in whose image we are made.
If there is only one God and that God is the Father (Malachi 2:10), and if Jesus is God, then it logically follows that Jesus is the revelation of the Father
1. Isaiah 9:6 calls the Son the everlasting Father. Jesus is the Son prophesied about and there is only one Father (Malachi 2:10; Ephesians 4:6), so Jesus must be God the Father revealed in the Son
2. Colossians 2:9 proclaims that all the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus. The Godhead includes the role of the Father, so the Father must dwell in Jesus
JESUS TAUGHT THAT HE WAS THE FATHER REVEALED
Jesus was not only the Son in His humanity but also Father in his deity
9. Jesus said “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” The Greek word translated “comfortless” is orphanos, which is defined as “bereaved (‘orphans’), i.e. parentless” Jesus was saying that I will not leave you as orphans, or fatherless: I will come to you.” Jesus speaking as the Father incarnate, promised that He would leave his disciples fatherless
10. Jesus prophesied that He would resurrect His own body from the dead in three days (John 2:19-21), yet Peter preached that God raised up Jesus from the dead (Acts 2:24)
11. Jesus said He would send the Comforter to us (John 16:7), but He also said the Father would send the Comforter (John 14:26).
12. The Father alone can draw people to God (John 6:44), yet Jesus said that He would draw all people to God (John 12:32).
13. Jesus will raise up all believers at the last day (John 6:40), yet God the Father quickens (gives life to) the dead and will raise us up (Romans 4:17; I Corinthians 6:14)
In the "name"... singular.

So now you have to do some study to see where the US would be referenced in the 66 books
Genesis 1:26 ( let "US" create man)
Genesis 3:22 (man became one of "US")
Genesis 11:4-7 (let "US" go down and confound there language)
You will find the answer in the book of Jasher. I referenced this book because this book is referenced in the bible 3 times.
Joshua 10:13
2 Samuel 1:18
The book of jasher is basically a book that gives you more in-depth information and was referenced in the Bible by other prophets.
2 kings 19:32-35
God said I will defend the city and in the next verse shows that he used his angel to do it.
@@aletheiaministries2020 Trinity never existed in the bible. Just man made excuse for a lie

You are arguing from silence. What verse says explicitly that angels are made in the image of God??
Troy is assuming that Gen. 1: 26 is referring to plurality of persons. This is flawed for several reasons but it requires one to believe in "eternal sonship". This is false doctrine because you cannot have a son, without a mother Galatians 4:4. Eternal sonship reveals the lack of true scriptural understanding but is accepted to "make" the doctrine of the trinity work. Where is the word trinity in the bible? Its not there...you already know that. Does it say anywhere in the bible that God is One? Case closed. Logic and reason will never stand with the revelation of scripture.

Says one Lord called by one name
Yep and Matthew 28:19 says one name for the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Oneness Pentecostals are crazy, they dance and twerk in church, that doesn't look like a church, it looks like a disco

Holy Spirit = Helper = God = not man.
Father's Spirit= comforter=Helper=Spirit of truth= Holy Spirit = Spirit of God = Spirit of Jesus Christ= Jesus=God
1.Spirit of the Father=Holy Spirit=Jesus
"For it is not you who speak, but the Spirit of your Father; He will speak in you." (Matthew 10:20)
"...for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit"
(Mark 13:11)
"For I myself will give you words of wisdom, so that you cannot be challenged or contradicted by your opponents"
(Luke 21:15)
I=Jesus
2. The Holy Spirit's name is Jesus.
"But the Comforter is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name...
(John 14:26)
3. Comforter = Spirit of truth.
"When the Comforter which I send from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father... (John 15:26)
4. Helper = Spirit of truth .
"I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that he may be with you forever, the SPIRIT of TRUTH
(John 14:16-17).
Where is Father?
Dwells in the Son, also in the clouds, also in heaven, filling the heavens and the earth (John 14:10, Matthew 10:33, 17:5, Jeremiah 23:23-24)
The spirit that comes out of the Father is termed:
another helper.
Who is the HELP and who accompanies us forever?
Spirit of truth= The Holy Spirit.
5...I am with you always until the end of time (Matthew 28:20)
Who is with us? Jesus .
It means:
Spirit of truth= Holy Spirit= Jesus
6.Holy Spirit = Spirit of Jesus .
"They passed through the land of Phrygia and the land of Galatia, because the Holy Spirit prevented them from preaching the gospel in Asia. And when they arrived at Missia they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them (Acts 16:6-7)
7. Holy Spirit = Spirit of the Lord = God = not human.
But Peter said, "Ananias, why is Satan in your heart that you lie to the Holy Spirit...(Acts 5:3)
"... you don't lie to humans, you lie to God" (story 5:4) .
So the Holy Spirit is definitely not human.
Same story in the same chapter...
Peter said: "Why did you two agree to test the Spirit of the Lord? ..."(Acts 5:9)
8.Holy Spirit = Spirit of God
“After being baptized, Jesus immediately came up out of the water, and at that moment the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove on him” (Matthew 3:16)
He=John the Baptist
"When the whole crowd had been baptized, and while Jesus was also being baptized and was praying, the heavens were opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him like a dove...
(Luke 3:21-22)
The dove-like apparition was intended to let John know that Jesus was the baptizer of the Holy Spirit.
"And I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water has said to me, If you see the Spirit descending on a person and remaining on Him, He will baptize with the Holy Spirit" (John 1:33)
9. Both the sign of the dove and the voice come from the Father who dwells in the Son.
"...but the Father, who lives in me, does his work" (John 14:10)
And because the Father testifies (second party), then the voice must come outside the body of the Son, from:
Heaven (Matthew 3:17)
Clouds (Luke 9:7)
10. must distinguish:
Jesus who is the name of the Father (God / Lord)
and
Jesus, who is the name of the Son of man who is made up of flesh and bones, who is seen, is being touched by John the Baptist, must be a man. (1 John 4:2)
Once again, the Son who is tangible , visible is human and is the image of invisible God(col 1:15)
11. For the Lord is Spirit (2 Cor 3:17).
God is Spirit (John 4:24).
12. What is spirit?
"Look at my hands and my feet: I am myself; touch me and see, for a spirit/pneuma has no flesh and bones, as you can see I have"
(Luke 24:39)
13 "...my salvation through your prayers and the help of the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:19)
14. May the Spirit of truth, namely the Holy Spirit, that is the Spirit of Jesus Christ, open the minds of readers, so that they understand the scriptures. gbu

They believe the book of Acts church was the real Church, and the doctrines of that Church was lost until the early 1900’s. It was then that the oneness doctrine was born in America.
They genuinely believe that they’re the only ones that are going to Heaven because they’re the only ones that baptize correctly and go through all the way to salvation, ie, baptism in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

0:09 the Shema Hear O Israel the LORD our God [ Elohim:Gods but understood, written and spoken as a singular pronoun God because it is used with a singular verb ] is one (echad: one ☝️, one in unity or group as in one flesh Genesis 2:24 for man and his wife, Or daytime and evening are one (echad) day Genesis 1:3-5).
The Shema doesn’t allow for the Trinity because God shows himself as Elohim in the singular using singular verb in Genesis 1 In the beginning God - Elohim - created’, Exodus 20:2 I am the LORD Your God (Elohim)’, and Maker in Isaiah 54:5 the plural word Maker = makers is understood as Maker by using the singular verb with It ‘Your Maker (Makers) is your husband’.

The sons of God
in Job 38:7 sons of God sang for joy at the setting of the foundation of the earth;
Job 1 sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD,
and Genesis 6 the sons of God saw the daughters of men
are thought 💭 to be the angels of God (before some of the angels rebelled and left their first estate Jude 6, Ezekiel 28:11-14-15-19, and Isaiah 14:7-20).
True TRUE, the saints/believers in Christ Jesus are being made continuously continually into the image of Christ Jesus as by the Spirit.
But BUT BEFORE Before before we are being made in the image of Jesus Christ 2nd Corinthians 3:18,
Man was made/created/ formed of the dust of the ground Genesis 2:7, but But BUT AFTER After after sin, man is now Now NOW MADE/Formed FROM THE DEPTHS/Lowest Parts OF THE EARTH/from where Satan was cast Isaiah 14:19, Revelation 12:9.
It took God six days. After that, God rested and hallowed the Sabbath?

The scripture says
Whosoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God 2jn1:9
Jesus said the Father is the only TRUE GOD
I and my Father are ONE
I come in my Father's name and you receive me not ,
Jesus said i am the Son of God
(Not God the Son)
Jesus said the Holy Ghost is comforter
(God the Holy Ghost)
Jesus said God is Spirit
(Not person)
Jesus never taught One God in 3persons or 3personalities
4:21 There are plural Holy Spirit’s :
God is Holy and a Spirit = A Holy Spirit, but God is not called the Holy Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit even though God is A Holy Spirit.
Philippians 1:19.
LOOK WE ARE MADE IN HIS IMAGE WHATS THE BIG DEBATE!!! 1: HEALTHY ME AND YOU WALKING AROUND [BODY+ SOUL+ SPIRIT]
2: YOU OR ME INA COMA! [ BODY+ SPIRIT-SOUL]
3: DEATH [ BODY-SOUL-SPIRIT]
When God said "Let us make man in our image and likeness," he was statingn his eternal purpose. The likeness of God was not in the first Adam, but in the second Adam (Christ), 1 Corinthians 15: 47, 48. And we are workers with him, 2 Cor. 6: 1. So, Paul wrote, "My children, which with I an again in labour until Christ is formed in 4 : 19, see also Ephesians 4 : 11 - 13. No, God was not speaking to the other members of a trinity, but to us!
God alone creates, so your interpretation can not be correct.
Robert Nieten I agree ☝️ God is a Spirit John 4:24
God/ the Father is a man John 8:17-18 having his own spirit of man within him, as man has his own spirit of man within him, 1st Corinthians 2:11.
Jesus had been the Word God, a Spirit, John 4:24, and having his own spirit of God within him, even as has the Father. John 1:1-2, John 8:17-18>1st Corinthians 2:11-b-.
No! Stop making God in man’s image! You are starting from the finite mono-personal human creature and using that to set parameters around God?! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
We are made in God’s Image not vice versa.
Just because we, as finite creatures, exist as mono-personal does NOT mean that God has to share the same limitation?! We must stop forcing God to conform to our image?!
Simonline 🇬🇧🤔🙏😀👍
@@leonardhunt7241 That cannot be correct otherwise God is contradicting Himself (Num.23:19)?!
Jn.8:17-18 is NOT saying that God is a man 🤦♂️ It is saying that in the same way that under the Law a matter is established on the testimony of two witnesses, so there are Two Who testify to the authenticity of the Messiah as YHWH Himself, incarnate as a man [Jesus of Nazareth]. The criteria is that the witnesses have to be personal [Persons] to be valid NOT that they have to be human?! God is Tri-Personal [Father, Son and Holy Spirit] but He is definitely NOT human (Num.23:19; Jn.4:24)

@Simon Line We are not "forcing God to conform to our image" He is the one that created Adam in His image. God is infinitely greater than man. He is omnipotent and omnipresent, but if Adam is a representation of God He Himself presented to us then why is there only one person standing in the garden of Eden instead of three ?
@@robertnieten7259 or you Could ask why isn’t Adam omnipresent and omnipotent? Genesis 1:27 has God made man in his image male and female created he them; Why then is Adam made first without the female? And only later is the female made? Perhaps, image doesn’t mean in every way the same ?

I appreciate your response. and the Word/God [Theos]; only the image of the God of Israel is known from Genesis 1:26-27.
In the Hebrew language a plural pronoun followed by a singular verb makes the plural pronoun understood, written, and spoken as a singular pronoun. This applies to Genesis chapter 1, Isaiah 54:5, and Exodus 20:2-3 among others, I am sure there are others.
@@leonardhunt7241 Yes only God can create but what you don't understand is God uses his Angels to carry out. Just read the book of Jasher.
@@mrdude3540 you have not sent me a quote….. from Jasher.
The Spirit of God did create also; Job 33:4-Elihu-, and Psalm 104:29-30 -young lions, swimming creatures, men, ships, among others, from their (genetic) dust;
however,
a Creator/God creates/makes the original and copiers ‘create’ copies of the original creations/created things.
Neither The Spirit of God, nor any other (including God the Father who made Eve, a copy of the original, Adam, with variations Genesis 1:27, 2:7) is so identified as a Creator/God because of having made copies.
The most succinct/basic definition of ‘god’ is ‘an object of worship’, as shown in Isaiah 44:17 ‘And the residue thereof he makes a god, his graven image: he falls down to, and worshipped, and prayed to it, and said, Deliver me; for you are my god.’
As Romans 1:25 makes mention:
‘Who, changed the truth into a lie and worshipped and served the creature (creation) more than the creator who is blessed for evermore. Amen. ‘
Therefore, a creator is to/should be worshipped and served and, as such, is a god.
