I’m Swedish and every time I hear this song I feel so powerful. My back will immediately go straight and I will get this confident look on my face. The pride of a descendant of vikings 😊😊
Skål brother, happy birthday! Amazing song, always on my playlists, the game was awesome, I agree with you about the visuals, keep doing what you are doing, love your reactions
I was so happy to see that you're doing this song because this version is one of my favourite versions of it because Payton Parrish's vocals really add another layer to it. But I also feel like I should clear a few things up because I couldn't find anyone in the comments that really did so. There seem to be a bit of a misconception about this song and I would like to correct it because I feel like Miracle of Sound isn't getting the recognicion he absolutely deserves. :) A lot of people seems to believe that this is a Payton Parrish song, but it is not. :P It's originally composed and sung by Miracle of Sound. He's an Irish singer/songwriter and one man band who mainly creates music based on video games as well as shows and movies. He made this song based on Assassins Creed: Valhalla and the original version is a much more mellow chant. He then did a metal version of it before making the duet with Payton Parrish. In the version that was released on Miracle of Sound's channel, you can see him sing his parts in the video, but for some reason that I don't know, that has been cut out of this version from Payton's channel. Which is likely the reason that so many people seem to think that this song is fully sung and made by Payton. And this misconception was starting to give me a twitchy eye so I had to say something. :P After this version he did a forth (acapella) version with Payton and Eric Hollaway. That one is pure magic because all of their voices together makes for an awesome experience. I can't reccomend Miracle of Sound enough because he's absolutely brilliant. One of my favourite songs is "Wake the white wolf: Metal version" based on Witcher III. It's sooo good and I'd love to see you react to it. :D
Thanks for mentioning this It's important to note that Peyton is actively supporting the incorrect crediting, going as far as singing the song at his concerts without crediting Gav at all
Great song by Miracle of Sound! There is another uncut video out there featuring Peyton Parrish and Gavin from Miracle of Sound (the original artist) this version of the video has cut out Gavin for some reason.... Gavin is Miracle of Sound and deserves credit for this awsome Viking anthem!
Amazing reaction and great song! I love this version for sure,! I also heard one they did on TikTok and YT Shorts with MoS, Payton, ThatBassVoice, and Serena Belle. The Bass that was added was amazing, and Serena sounded like a damn Valkyrie joining in. It was AMAZING!
He made a new song called "god of war". For this he feat. a german band called Saltatio Mortis. They are a medieval Metal Band. Very good songs and Videos. Some of them are "My mother told me " "Pray to the hunter " or "The dragonborn comes ". You should react to them .I think you will love it.
and now you need to do the trio version which adds eric hollaway (who is one of the deepest bass voices in the world) to finish off the set. it doesnt have as much visually but eric adds so much to the audio itself also, happy birthday
@@Shredder884 It not "his" cover either. Gavin is putting in just as much and its still his original song. This is Gavin's version done with Peyton, not a full cover by Peyton. The "Duet" part of the title should've been a clue. For some moronic reason, Peyton decide to almost totally cut Gavin out of it for his upload.
@@Shredder884 the only thing Peyton did in this version was the vocals for the parts where he is on camera, the lyrics, instrumental, and other vocals are all miracle of Sound. Though Peyton did do a full cover this isn't it

Peyton Parrish's low act. A miracle of sound, on his channel posted his song: "Valhalla Calls"! Sung by a duet! And Peyton on his channel, only his beloved, the same song!
It's not "him singing"- it's "they singing". Because it's Miracle of Sound feat Peyton Perish. All what Peyton do it's publish that song on his channel and cut footage with Mirracle of Sound, but in song you can hear his voice at that moments when you didn't see Peyton on screen
Happy Birthday!!!! I recommend Peyton a while ago seeing loved Viking lore Peyton is a very intense singer he gets really into his music. He is well known for his Viking rock/Metal/Chants he can even sing in Old Norse and throat sing. My Mother Told Me ( Old Norse ) Draugr ( Old Norse) Anything off his Rise Of Vikingr album is amazing.
Sir, I just watched your reaction to Pentatonix - 'The Prayer". I can't tell you if YOU moved me to tears by your reaction, or their delivery of the song. It is how I feel when something is so powerful, or talented, that you are either crying or standing up cheering. For the latter, if you want to witness an absolute MASTER on guitar, (12 string, no less), I urge you to react to: "Glen Campbell - William Tell Overture, (with standing ovation.) You will not be able to speak until you pick your jaw off from the floor. Happy Birthday, from Ohio, USA. Much love.
Gavin's duet with Peyton is good, but the original versions with just Gavin are far better to me. I put the trio version they did with Eric Hollaway above the duet though, because its Eric fucking Hollaway.
Much love from Denmark..... OMG i was wondering that aswell why on Valhallas sacret fields you didnt do the original first, but now you are forgivin' and you MIGHT go to Valhalla yourself , if you fight with honor
I can only say: You don't know what you don't know :P. This is the beauty of the channel... The discoveries I make that are being fed by all of you are such good fun :)
This is not the original. The original is by Miracle of Sound alone and can be found on his channel. They made the collaboration vid about a year after the original.
