Instacart has reduced pay from $7 to $4 / order. In California drivers pay is subsidized to ensure they get minimum wage but that’s not the case for the rest of the country. How does reducing pay from a structure where drivers already make 75% percent of their income from tips improve the instacart platform?

I knew that the Virtual Care Assist took inspiration from ChatGPT. It’s just a shame it’s implemented in a way that screws over the employee. This CEO needs to work on the way ratings work. I don’t understand why support agents receive their rating in real time because it’s a security concern as infiltration occurs as a result. This interview highlights what’s wrong with a tech company that’s branded as a grocery delivery company because these questions are BS. This interview is nothing but one sided Silicon Valley garbage. This company doesn’t listen to feedback and it’s up to us employees to deal with this garbage algorithm. While it has its checks and balances. I’m literally always on the verge of a security review from the horrible contract instacart has with the call center company. Wouldn’t it be easier for the algorithm to be constructed on a thumbs up thumbs down system that uses two inputs instead of five?
