I'm new to this dress making business. But I just bought a 17 inch Clawdeen doll. I figured I'd have a better chance of making her some decent clothing if her body was not as small as a reg MH doll. Do you think the width of the lace would look okay on a dress for her or should I just take her with me and measure her against the lace. I'm going to Hobby Lobby. Did you buy the glove/arm covers for her or make them?

+Mary Stewart the skirt will look good, you can use the same 2cm wide lace but take a little bit bigger piece of tule to sew the lace on, I use 5x20 cm for a regular MH, so you can take for example 8x25 or something, it depends on how long this dress should be. And for the top you will also have to measure her parameters, the length of the top and her boobs))) I've never made any clothes for 17 inch MH yet, so I cannot tell you the exact measurements.

Thank you so much. Those measurements with work for Ms. Clawdeen. I think I'm going to try and get a pale pink lace. Hopefully it will look like a cute summer wedding guest dress!

ur dolls are very expensive and hard to make but I like them a little I would like em more if the were easier and much cheaper

if I spend less time working on one doll to make the process cheaper, the result won't be that impressive. And the materials are also expesive: just my pencils cost 100 euro + pastels + expensive Mr. Super Clear sealant every month + dolls + brushes + fabrics and laces and 3d pen materials. And of course I still need to calculate my work. It's not really a business to become rich, it's more trying to get at least some of my investments back)))
