Kenjaku had a millenia to construct a plan on a massive scale. He managed to turn the jujutsu sorcerers against each other and they were all forced to play in his culling game. He would strike almost without getting seen. Lucius as of now as powerful as he is went into a all out confrontation. Even if his enemies had basically one week to prepare themselves they are getting now overwhelmed by his angels, paladins and clones. A real win is displayed in the least amount of effort so as long as Lucius remains unshaved he takes it. Kenjaku is for all we know smart enough to not confront the two strongest head on. Gojo and Sukuna exist in a tier of their own.
Lucius would just convert kenjaku. There is literally nothing kenjaku can do. If there is any future that is messed up by kenny is enough for licius to put an end to him.
