I’m a 55 year old chubby “straight/Bi?” man still figuring out my sexuality, who wants to do drag. I just found your tutorial. You look fabulous. Wish you lived nearby so you could help me in person.
@@KardiBlac Update: I didn't make it thru, but my makeup skills have developed amazingly thanks to videos like this. Is incredible how big and helpful is the drag community even tho it was under the stigma that everyone is shady and bitchy.
Thank you so much for this video, I know you have a video updated but I feel like this one worked so well especially for the blocking of eyebrows! Thank you Queen!❤️ Did my first look yesterday and it was so much fun! I was losing hope until i tried your video :)
Great video! Do you happen to have a list of the supplies I would need? I have an event coming up where I might try this for the first time. I have a lot of stuff I bought but I may not have some of the items you used. Thank you!
Hey! This video is about 5 years old now so most of the products I use have changed! Pop over to a more recent video and the products should be in the description of my new videos! I also have full product lists available on my website with links if you need! At www.kardiblac.com ✨
You go girl! Such a cool video. I thought of doing drag for one night to surprise my friends. This kind of discourage me cuz it looks super hard, but you look stunning.
Not really, the video is 5 years old, I do not have a list for this video, and I don’t intend on making one Most of the products I use in this I probably no longer use too, I do have a product list that I sell if you wish to buy one, or you can hop onto my Instagram and see which products I use in post descriptions ✨
I'm about to celebrate my twenty-eighth (!) year as a professional drag queen and LGBTQ activist and I have to admit I have a difficult time with whether I find TH-cam tutorials as a good thing or a bad thing. Before TH-cam, queens outside of large cities often had to travel hundreds of miles to find a shoe shop with large enough sizes and we could only learn hair and makeup through trial-and-error or from our drag mothers. My drag mother adopted me after I'd been performing for two years and by that point I can't begin to tell you how a friend and I tried virtually EVERYTHING to block our brows. Everything from clear nail polish to soap. A glue stick was one of the few ideas we neglected to think of, so I eventually just gave up and shaved the damn things off entirely. Ha! In that regard, it saves the newer entertainers a lot of time....but I do question whether skipping over the trial-and-error phase keeps them from learning a healthy amount of humility (we always had at least one person who had photos from our earliest days and the threat of having those leaked _anywhere_ kept our egos in check). Lastly, having every one of our "trade secrets" online for anyone to see takes away some of the mystique drag used to have. I was recently at a mirror in a venue trying to fix my hairline when a biological girl that looked no older than fourteen came up and asked me if I hadn't glued my wig down. I was gobsmacked. Never did I think the day would come where kids not even in high school yet knows what took me years to learn. On the plus side, however, is that we don't hear my most detested question anymore. My skin crawled when people would ask who did my makeup. You know, because surely a _female_ had to do it for me. Everything has a good side and a bad side. I think in the end it's wonderful that there are so many queens feeling motivated enough to share their tips and techniques to spread the love we all have for the art form. Not every queen is _that_ accommodating to help others. Thanks for being one of those that _do._ You're gorgeous and I wish you much luck in your career! xoxox
I think this would have been so much better if the sound was better. I kept tweekg it but could never really here anything.I think there would of been some interesting points if I ould have head them.
I love you, but why u keep saying your brows are «questionable» in every video? Just a thought, i cant say i do better drag makeup then you though lmaoo. I’m give butch baby queen realness. I don’t mean this in a mean way at all, I really do love your work and I think you’re fierce💖💖
Thank you! I only say they are questionable because in person they took 30 minutes to do and they stressed me out and I thought they looked awful haha! ❤️

Oh yeah it did! It was so annoying when I lived in that flat 😂
I thought the beep in the background was in my house and I spent 10 mins looking for it
Right? Idk how some people just tune that stuff out😅
I love how when you overline the lips that you keep it looking natural still, like they look plumped but not OTT 😁❤
Thank you! I love a good juicy lip, but never clownish! 👏🏼

Hi Kardi, thank you for your informative video. Do I really have to shave my eyebrows for drag make-up?
Does the primer help with sweating? I'm afraid it's all going to drip off.
I am interested in doing this for a disguise wish me luck many of you videos seem like they would get me the results I want for myself
I like how you do you make up
