Good question. Scotty Kilmer says on newer cars the Ecu can be reset by touching the positive and negative battery terminals together ( while not connected to the battery of course!!!!) and leave it like that for 15 minutes to remove any charge in the system to reset the ECU. But!!!! I don’t know how that will work with older cars like this one.
@@jogmas12 - It works and the older ones are not affected by that the way the new ones are... This computer has hard coding to run that engine and nothing else to worry about. It would not know if the power was shut off or not. Reset is no problem.
Also in the 5th mode, you can enter diagnose mode and test, mass air flow, throttle position sensor and so on
