Exposed shower valve - Flow valve: maintenance and replacement

Hi, my flow valve has a gap from the main body. It is not this style and does not have a grub screw on the tap. There is a grub screw on the opposite side next to the thermostatic valve. How can i loosen the flow handle so i can tighten back onto the main body?Thanks
