Someone at NHK or whatever the Japanese version of the Smithsonian should get with this guy for a few years and record everything he knows while he's still alive and healthy. They're going to lose a lot of knowledge and cultural history when he dies.
tis true, perhaps ninjutsu is already recorded in some archive out there in japan. It does look like a lethal practice and in being so probably isn't widely accessible to the public, rightfully so. From what i've seen the whole shtic of ninjutsu is to be stealthy, deadly, and highly versatile.
Also document the weapons and the age of each.

Used to pretend-play I was a ninja as a child even if I was a girl. Anyway, thanks a ton for this highly interesting feature. The breathing tips will be specially helpful in lowering people's anxiety during these extraordinary times.

I have been doing Togishi work in the states since the 90s in addition to my Pulmonary Care positions in the past. It's business as usual but a bit slower since many Nihonto I bid on are stuck in Nihon due to the Postal System being held back by the virus. The other thing I noticed is more Uchigumori and Nagura stones being made available for purchase. These stones have been mined decades ago and have been kept in storage for future sale. Seeing so many suddenly become available indicates something about the economy. There must be a need to sell more stones to support my suppliers businesses.

Breathing thecnique is logical mma ufc and boxing fighting use breath thecnique, for example subconsciously if you lifted heavy object or 30 kg will certainly hold breath
What he explained with the breathing is one of many forms of meditation. There's more advanced ones that start from what he explained there, such as Tumo meditation, but that is too advanced to be attempted on your own, you would need someone to teach you that.
yes, these all techniques boil down to the yoga practises, but in different forms
There's no need to learn Tumo meditation anymore since you can achieve the same results with Wim Hof Breathing and much faster.
I hope he’s training some other ninjas cause this is so cool - rip he doesn’t want to but I feel like it’s such a specific way of living that it should continue to be passed down
