Production wise, it is funny to me that I learned some fundamental views on writing from that universe. I think where Mick Gordon, Gojira or Porcupine Tree shine is their precision with sounds, which is fundamentally not a natural character of electric guitars, drums and overall the metal genre. I took this sound, I listened to it at full decibels, then I put on my suit, rangers, my motorcycle helmet. My Katana and my baseball bat. And in a room where I store a whole bunch of TV stuff, furniture, a shelf with lots of pretty glass, plates and a sofa organized as if it were a living room. A table with chairs. I turned up the volume. And with all my rage I smashed everything and had fun.
