Commenting 2/4/20 at 640am EST...from southern RI, USA.....Except for those very very pesky frequent video ADs interrupting a few times.....the overall video of this takeoff is simply OUTSTANDING.....just LUVS it...big big time..awesome on the overall cameramanship here.....nice voices from the cabin's PA system too....in such multi-languages too..... and BTW....at 10:00 a line of dark roll clouds shows up..possibly an impending Tstorm over the area....as Singapore get some 160 Tstorm days per year.....more than Florida gets....love the scene above all low level clouds and the like...and the deep clear blue skies above...which spices up this amazing video even more so....Indeed..Singaore is one place where one will NEVER have to shovel snow, heeheee....as it is hot and humid 24/7/365/366-ly....

I love the sound of the engines too, they are actually quite powerful. Spoiler alert, the sound of the engines is actually louder in real life as compared to what you hear in the video. I hope you get a chance to fly on this awesome aircraft soon!

Stunning video you have! I would like to try it someday. It seems much more quieter than 787 especially on the ground. Until today I still can't forget the whining noise of 787 hydraulic system while taxing to runway and the cabin itself was poorly insulated.

Nice takeoff! Unfortunately when the pilot extend and retract the flaps it's so noisy. And the wing view was nice. The engines are not to noisy either.

+isaacflyaway I actually stared and marveled at the winglets for awhile during my flight! It truly is a beauty. I used the iPhone 6s for this video, the camera is amazing. It took me quite awhile to get used to (size difference) as I managed to get my new phone just a few days before my flight.

loved this video. especially getting to see the land clearance n preparation for terminal 5. all that is reclaimed land. then the magical fluffy clouds. just beautiful :) i didnt realise that SQ put the A350 on the KL route. would have loved to see some footage of the cabin though.
Thank you for the comment Colin. It really is amazing to see how far Singapore and the aviation industry has progressed over the years. Singapore Airlines introduced the A350 on regional routes such as KL and Jakarta for crew familiarization and if I am not mistaken, these flights are still running. You can check out my 2 A350 reviews on my channel, I covered the flight from Singapore to KL and back.

+Kiyoshi Kimura Hey Koyoshi, I didn't experience any turbulence on this short flight. However, during landing I could feel the aircraft shaking a little mainly because of the aileron and rudder movements.

Airbus A350 is a rocket, just like MD-11, 727, Dc-10, Concorde, 737-200 and 757. I guess we can name the A350 to the Airbus Rocket.
+boffis123 The A350 sure is powerful! You forgotten another rocket, Boeing 777-300ER =)
***** Not really, planes that I call rockets are planes with awesome engine sound, + they go straight up over 15 degrees during takeoff.
777s only climbs like between 10 and 5 degrees.
Allthrough a rocket that I forgot: 747
boffis123 The GE90s sound great when they start up and during takeoff. I believe most planes are able to go over 15 degrees during takeoff but the choice is all down to the pilots whether they find a need to do so.
47-400 and 800 are much faster than all you mention.
A 350 is a perfect aircraft.

It is the newest aircraft in production Admed, so naturally there will not be as many in the air as of now.
I've always wondered why flights circle after departure from changi?
Usually flights taking off from runways 20C/R that aren’t south bound will do a circle to head north. It’s best to sit on the left for a fantastic view of Singapore!
Didn't the flightcrew told you to stow your camera wile taxiing? It happened to me in a SIA flight.
They don't now, in fact the airline and its subsidiaries allow the use of portable electronic devices as long as they are in airplane mode. I really appreciate this new rule, which means I can film everything with my iPhone =)

+IAmYourMum I am not too sure about this but takeoffs and landings were in the opposite direction, so I am guessing bad weather or strong winds.
Is this 9V-SMA or 9V-SMB? Cause this was released 4 days after SMB arrived.

Nice video. I had a chance to fly one yesterday due to an aircraft change from a 777-200 from HKG to SIN. The aircraft is just beautiful and state of the art. Really loved the IFE and the winglet. Checkout my landing footage. (I had trouble holding the camera still tho :D)

+Ifly 777 I am impressed at the quality of the iPhone 6s myself too, my camera plans can wait for awhile now =) Ahh yes, we were on hold for the Firefly ATR to land from Ipoh. That's true as the flaperon movement seems much more obvious than the aileron partly due to the fact that it is closer to the fuselage. Thanks for watching!
