When I was in Afghanistan, this was the song I listened to, on repeat, while I was on the treadmill, not only is it an eternal iconic banger, but it helped me feel hope, and it kept me running literally and emotionally.
This is what music should be, they all just look like they're enjoying the hell out of themselves and not just doing it cause their label is making them.

You can see in this video that something magical happened in that room. You can see on their faces they know they are creating a timeless masterpiece. You can almost feel the electric energy, you can almost share their elation because they know they are doing something really f**** great. Everything put together beautifully. Each of them feeding off the other's energy. Just brilliant

In my last year of university, when I was writing my thesis to finish my Masters in civil engineering I started to work. For 6 months I woke up everyday at 6 a.m. so I could accomplish the deadline. Every morning I listened this music to get some motivation for that hard period. It was hardwork but in the end I made it. Graduated with 17/20. Never give up!

Thomas Thomas I’m more a fan of Jose and Alt J (can go without OMAM) but still think this performance exceeds. I’ve never been a Macklemore fan. Think it’s the energy of it being the 1st live performance of the song...on the edge of completely blowing up and hanging from the rafters. We’ll see KEXP is currently gathering votes for best live performances. We’ll see what scores high. I’m sure all of these options will top the lists!

"Can we go back" because I wish to go back to the year or decade where everything was the good old simple days where everything was good, fun, and when everybody was happier. "We'll fight till it's over" because the covid-19 pandemic changed everything in the world since 2020 so that we will be able to endure through the covid-19 pandemic until the pandemic is over so that everything goes back to normal. Listening to this song makes me so nostalgic that I want to have a time machine to travel back in time when everything in the world was just the good old simple days when everybody was happier not only when this song came out but the past 2-4 decades ago.
