Day late here, but plant looks like a marble pothos or some sort of pothos. They don't like cold temps so keep away from windows during the winter. He/she should also be in "indirect" sunlight. If you snip the yellow, give him a good drench (if hes dry) then ignore him for a good week or 2, he should hopefully improve. Only water when top 1-2 inches of soil is dry! Hope that helps!

you should probably get ready to get messy and check your potho for any root rot first before proceeding, you would know if it's rot when you see black dead roots. If it's not root rot, you're probably overwatering your pothos or the water is just sitting in water with no drainage holes, to see if the soil is wet or moist try to burry your finger into the soil to check if it's dry or moist. If you don't want to do that, buy a water meter for plants and it'll show you if inside the soil is dry or not. Other than that, you're doing good with the pothos by the window however you should place it somewhere else since the window is cold now, so just put it away from the cold window.

The plant is a pothos plant. They thrive best in lowlight settings, like in ur bedroom or an office. They need to be watered every 1-2 weeks :))
