    My hood....where I grew up...Bakaekyir is divided into 4 main parts which includes main Bakaekyir inside, Pariscoa ( named after the first hotel in the area " Hotel de Pariscoa") , Awonafo kurom( mainly Ewe inhabitants) then lagoon side) The fist inhabitants of the area were the Ewes .

    The place you started is called Parisquoa. Where the barrier was is where Baakayiri starts. Home sweet home🎉 keep it up 👊🏾

    Tourist potential, if the houses were beautified along the river it could be a nice place with a nice view...

      Those living there don't care about what you your view of beautiful houses is. It is where they live and they are content with it.

      @@benbo7042 And that's why that area will never be developed because of the mentality of people like you! A whole oil city but because of ''contentment" it looks poor. How far has that got us as people...

      @@Just_Babs Nonsense. There are parts of Kumasi that are much worst and very very filthy.

    Music in the background as you show us the place would enhance the presentation. Just a suggestion

    Think you could have given some historical background about the place to preceed the video itself. The river itself , which is Bakka , the stretch of the river Yates that enters the sea ,does serving as a boundary between Bakka Ano and Bakka Etsir. It's nice anyway .good work done.

      Methinks RIVER YATES doesn't have any connection with Bakaekyir,bcos Yates is in Ketan whilst Bakaekyir is in Sekondi.I learnt how to swim in the Yates river during my school days in the early sixties.

    No development nothing has changed, people use beaches to beautiful things but Ghanaians don't see anything wrong with this.

    Twin City you are not trying .

  • @reginawilliams1070
    @reginawilliams1070 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The twin city. The infrastructure is toooooo slow. Though an oil city, the slowest progress cities in the country. Why??? However, the streets are very neat. The citizens must ginger their leaders to buck up. Sekondi. Takoradi, you are far far behind other cities.
