How to Recolour SVGs in Cricut Design Space

When you open an image or SVG in Cricut Design Space, it sometimes comes all in one colour and only one layer.
But what if you want to cut the design from multiple colours of vinyl or cardstock?
Not to worry - you can split a one-colour SVG into multiple colours with just a few clicks of your mouse!

Do you know why my contour box is not highlighted? Combine, Attach and Flatten are highlighted but contour and slice are not? Many thanks x

Firstly, make sure you have ungrouped the design. If you have already, I think you must have too many layers selected. Slice only works when two layers are selected so you may have multiple selected which is why it isn't highlighted. Hope that helps!

What if my layers are scrambled when ready to make??? How can I put together?

Select all layers that are the same colour and press the "Attach" button at the bottom of the layers panel. That will keep them all in position when the design is cut. Then repeat that for all the other colours.
