Yo! That is sick. I took my 03 Crv with 3inch lift out near the area as well. how u did you mount that winch? I been trying to find a way to mount a winch.
That areas a lot of fun. If you remove the bumper cover you will a support beam ,remove the support beam and weld a 2x3 or 2x4 steel plate to the frame in its top place. Then trim bumper cover to fit.. Pretty simple and effective
@@TheDigitalNomadX thank you, I will go this summer. There’s any main entrance or an specific entrance? Not really familiar with the area but I live 4 hours from there 🤩
yea its only a 3500lb atv winch since the crv is only about 2800-2900lbs and the front end of these doesnt have the strongest support areas but this winch has definitely gotten is use. i removed the bumper support and welded a steel beam to the frame were the old bumper supports use to be. its more for light weight stuff like tree rope swings , lowering down the side of the cliff but its also saved me from a mud pit and when I flooded my engine crossing a river
Yea, I saw that vid when you flooded the engine... Very lucky man. I have an 06 CRV. AUTO 2.4. 8 I love it. Had done some mods to it.. it's on my channel as is the XJ Jeep. Cheers.
what engine is the crv? And do you find it powerful enough? At one place I didnt understand - you went up some hill and you said you were flooring the gas pedal and only going five miles an hour - so that means not enough power? Im thinking whether I should buy a 2nd gen or a 3rd gen. Im a big worried that 2nd gen will start falling apart simply because of its age. How often does something break in your crv? Thanks for your answers!!!
Hey!! Reliability and durability is really good with the crv. Very rarely am I fixing anything or needing repairs. There was a spot that had a long steep incline with alot of big rocks so by not being able to go fast to keep momentum I was only able to go up about 5mph at full throttle. Keep in mind I had over 1500lbs of gear and people in the car and this trail is rated for lifted vehicles with 33-35 inches tires. Overall the 2nd gen crv is pretty solid if your not trying rock crawl.
Nice car but you’re annoying and exaggerating everything. There is zero chance that that Honda has 14 inches of clearance . The evap canister hangs down quite low.
@@TheDigitalNomadX The gas tank does NOT hang the lowest. The EVAP canister does. I have the same car. You could easily prove it with a tape measure and a photo, but you won’t because you’re lying.
@Dumontjon the canister sits behind the gas tank is 1" higher than the tank. It doesn't let post photos. I would have to make a seperate video and upload it. Which I can do later no problem. What else was exaggerated since I exaggerated everything
Awesome vid! I'm tempted to make my 06 more of an outlander rig but it's also my daily...but you're showing me the way. I'm inspired.
There amazing vehicles with alot of capabilities

How and where did you install the winch, looks like small winch. What size winch ???
yea its only a 3500lb atv winch since the crv is only about 2800-2900lbs and the front end of these doesnt have the strongest support areas but this winch has definitely gotten is use. i removed the bumper support and welded a steel beam to the frame were the old bumper supports use to be. its more for light weight stuff like tree rope swings , lowering down the side of the cliff but its also saved me from a mud pit and when I flooded my engine crossing a river

@TheDigitalNomadX appreciate you taking time explaining, thank you. Is that k24 you have?
@cuzar yea the k24. Has more torque and reliability than the k20. Lots of aftermarket options and parts are cheap if something needs replaced.
They need to make a trail sport version of the crv
I would love if they brought back the crv like it use to be. Now it's almost a full size suv and looks basic.
hyped man. More videos of your CRV Please. Safe travels my G

FUCKING BADASS MAN. I hope I get this crv 2002 4wheeldrive Manuel!
same year as mine!! if you get it you will love it. I love this little thing.. lots of fun adventures in the crv.
Mine is a manual transmission 2006 cr-v all ready put off road tires and lifted looks nice 👍🏻
Nice to see people a adventuring and modding vehicles that are not 100k , it’s shocking to me that people even have that kind of money

Ok.. it's the gas tank that hangs the lowest.. but you are right. I just measured. It's not 14. It's 13.. differentials are 14.
