      I've spent many years writing for little papers here in the Bay Area. I would of started sooner but it took years to amass enough background knowledge of the area it's people, history and contacts to be able to write with some authority. Only to find that most of these hacks, just make stuff up.

      They don't exist. Most are just paid Schillers that get paid to say what they are told to.

    I adore this man. He is a huge source of both inspiration and information. I'd be honored to 'shadow' him for a month as a class project.

      Yeah. There's various subcategories of investigative journalism with many choosing to specialize in criminal reportage.

    As long as you stick with the politically correct investigation and approved subjects, please investigate all you want. Most journalists are cowards and more interested in pats on the back from their peers.
