much of the physical play has been taken out of the game. not an excuse, but it does allow the offense to be more aggressive knowing it's an easy man up if they take a good hit
since when do dpoles go for the trail check instead of the bottom hand or a v hold push to their side. everyone now is ball watching, getting back doored and jogging or walking on the crease instead of getting stick on stick or hip and forcing them out the sides. Look how they square up and let them go either way on ball. No more c curls or proper angle of approach, its lack of fundamentals
@@liamneimeth3980 By rule, if you break your stick, you are immediately required to drop the stick and/or run off the field with the broken equipment if still in your hand. Otherwise, it's considered one of the many forms of illegal procedure. Loss of protective equipment including a shoe is usually an immediate whistle when noticed by the refs.
