Cops called on Me for laying down in the woods; Wayzata, Minnesota

  • At about 3:30 I laid down in
    The Big Woods Preserve
    1223 Wayzata Blvd E, Wayzata, MN 55391
    goo.gl/maps/Vv...
Shortly after that, 2 professionally dressed came by me and 1 asked if I was alright. I asked him if he was alright.
Can't a guy lay down and stretch their back without getting the cops called on them?
Officer Kalkes took almost 10 minutes to arrive from the time those professional men stopped at me. She caught me at my car, so I decided to pull out my Gopro Max.
I was hoping for no cop calls today. But by the way these guys acted, I strongly suspected they were going to push an issue with me. It's unfortunate these kinds of things have to develop among strangers.
I find that I need to lay down on the hard ground more often to achieve the relief that I need for my health. Laying inside the car is not a proper form of relaxation. Unfortunately, I expose myself to the public with my leisurely activities. And they call me weird! Would they call the cops on a sleeping dog?

To be fair, some parks are more problematic and attract public safety issues more than others.
Nobody knows who called the police and it seems that it's only speculation, (in this video), that it was the guys he came across.
Nonetheless, so many times things happen and NOBODY calls the police so I'm not particularly offended that someone would call the police at something they would feel is sketchy, (which is subjective). I'm also not opposed to police showing somewhat of a presence in public and in problematic areas - which is generally a positive impact on the safety of the public, (as long as they know their boundaries).

What's going through the mind of someone who just calls the cops to come check someone out who's not in any danger or committing any crimes? I've been walking on trails and seen people sitting on a big rock, laying down relaxing, even saw a couple having sex once, and I have never thought I needed to call the police. If I see someone who needs help I'll help them. If I see someone who looks like they're up to no good I'll watch them for little bit and then go back to minding my own business. If someone looks dangerous then I go the other way. This cop calling nonsense needs to stop. I'll bet they just thought you were a homeless person trying to pitch camp and that's why they called. What a piece of shit society has turned into. And what is "..the woods closes at 10:30.."? It's the woods; it doesn't close or open. It's that ridiculous crap that I find suspicious.
