The scene at the end took the world record for highest amount of fake blood used in a film due to the rain being a practical effect throughout, and it took 50,000 gallons of it to shoot the final sequence - and another 20,000 gallons for the rest of the film!
2013 is by far the most impressive out of all of them imo but it definitely feels like a different film franchise. I prefer the camp of the ogs and rise, but the 2013 version is much more of an actually scary horror movie than the rest, so it completely wins on that front.

Watched this one a few weeks ago, absolutely insane movie, the horror was just unrelenting. Never a single moment to breathe until the credits roll. LOVED Mia, amazing character. I joke and say no wonder she relapsed the first time with this support system. But she is a SURVIVOR, so proud of her journey. Personally, 2013 is better than Rise. I think Rise has some amazing sequences and great highs, but 2013 is way more tense and scary. Sad about no future Heartstopper reactions, might I suggest another gay romance coming in August, the movie Red White & Royal Blue?

Even if you dont watch it on the channel, absolutely watch the original trilogy. Original is super charming because its made on a shoestring budget by a bunch of really talented college buddies. The second is the best horror comedy ever made (in my opinion). And Army of Darkness is just a perfectly silly fun adventure comedy (its got a skeleton that plays a bone flute, movie rules).
Also, the reason the remake works so well is pretty much how incredible Jane Levy is as Mia both in regular human form and deadite form, and it works because there is no Ash, there is instead Mia. But you have to watch Bruce Campbell as Ash, specifically in Evil Dead 2. You'll get why they could not recast/remake that character and had to do an entirely new (and ultimately also iconic) main character.
I'm an older fan and just a film nerd so I would watch any film no matter how old, I of course, understand you not reacting though. Maybe you can do it as a Patreon exclusive perhaps, but of course that is up to you =^_^= But regarding this remake it is literally one of the best remakes I've ever seen!
