Vielen Dank für die Videoreise zu bekannten Orten! Ich bin viel auf der deutschen Autobahn gefahren und habe die Fahrt genossen! Und in den Niederlanden mögen sie wirklich durchdachte und schicke Enden!!!
Thanks for sharing! I totally agree-when we crossed into the Netherlands, the difference in road quality was clear. The infrastructure there felt much more modern compared to the German Autobahn. Fun fact: the Autobahn dates back to the 1930s, so that could explain why some parts feel a bit outdated.
They also have only 1/3 of the traffic as you can see. The high amaont of traffic reduces the life span of the roads drastically, esp. heavy load and trucks. Therefore the right lane is ofen more bad or renewed.
@@Rick2010100 That is correct, although we are the logistic hub in Europe, with the largest sea port and second largest airport in the EU. We have also a lot of railtrack and are blessed with lots of navigable rivers, what really helps with moving the heavy cargo into the rest of europe.
@@man08839 the concept works like this: The EU checks people when they enter the EU, and once they are within the EU they can go across all borders because they have been checked already. So theoratically it would be excessive to check at every border again. But that does not work very well in reality, statistics show that there is still a lot of criminal activites at the border and people cross illegaly very easily, thats why many people and me included think that we indeed need border patrol at every border
Normally, there are no permanent border checks between the Netherlands and Germany due to the Schengen Agreement, which allows free movement. However, since September, Germany has reintroduced temporary border checks to combat illegal immigration. This policy, starting on Monday, September 16, will be in place for six months.

Hey everyone! Which Autobahn do you prefer-the German or the Dutch? Let us know in the comments! We’d love to hear your thoughts 🚗💬
Nobody can prefer a highway system with a 100kph speed limit...
Super bro❤❤
Wow❤❤❤❤
When you get to the Netherlands you see better roads.

If you enter from Belgium it is just funny, suddenly the road is lit and the road surface is silky smooth.
@@buddy1155 the Netherlands has one of the best infrastructure in Europe.
