i agrée & disagree. it’s definitely a sad situation & i feel for her (especially because her mom put her in that dangerous situation), & yes her mom stole the car. but she knew it was stolen, & she drove it anyway. underage at that. she’s still liable for her actions. she still committed a crime, not even just knowingly being in the possession of a stolen vehicle (which would be a different charge or even admissible if you can prove that you weren’t aware that the vehicle was stolen), but also driving saïd vehicle underage. at 14, you’re not too young or underdeveloped to know when something is illegal or not, & you’re also not incapable of making decisions based on whether they’re right or wrong. so, imo, yes she took the fall, but she also did the crime, & rightfully was held accountable for that

Gives another perspective to the legal system. Imagine how many more crappy attorneys there are. It's definitely not helping with the wrong convictions and imprisonments. The older I get, the more I realize how many professionals are incompetent in their fields. It's scary. At least there are some people who are actually experts in what they do and carry everyone else.

i agrée & disagree. it’s definitely a sad situation & i feel for her (especially because her mom put her in that dangerous situation), & yes her mom stole the car. but she knew it was stolen, & she drove it anyway. underage at that. she’s still liable for her actions. she still committed a crime, not even just knowingly being in the possession of a stolen vehicle (which would be a different charge or even admissible if you can prove that you weren’t aware that the vehicle was stolen), but also driving saïd vehicle underage. at 14, you’re not too young or underdeveloped to know when something is illegal or not, & you’re also not incapable of making decisions based on whether they’re right or wrong. so, imo, yes she took the fall, but she also did the crime, & rightfully was held accountable for that

My favorite thing about this video is shalee learning how much she has affected peoples lives basing her line of work of off fiction. You can tell she is genuine through the end with how she talks about her judgment of people and to be much more careful.

I really appreciate this series as someone with invisible disabilities/chronic illnesses. I am faced with A LOT of ignorance, judgment, and misconceptions, from many people, including drs, other medical professionals, and lawyers too. Everyone, regardless of their profession or station in life, has biases.
