After watching Season 2, Simon's words about his father were a huge slap in the face. They hurt to the core and you can see it. I understand why now.
They basically showed us how Anthony acts and seems to be overprotective, but also overwhelmed with all the expectations of him and next season we will see why that is and how to help him to win against his demons.

Are they really not okay? Once the wedding went through and Simon and Daph realized they lived each other I was under the impression that Anthony had accepted it and was happy for them. The only reason they clashed when she came back to host that ball and check on Colin was because it was clear Simon WASNT taking care of Daph (or at least doing a poor job) and if he was going to be a weird friend and marry his sister the least he could do was not fuck up😂

These men are so experienced in the bed in contrast to the women they are expected to marry, the world has always been unkind to the women folk irrespective of the class.
