Congratulations!😀 For hotels in downtown Seoul, expect to pay at least $100 per night. I personally recommend hotels near City Hall subway station. Myeongdong is famous, but it is noisy and expensive. The area around City Hall Station is quieter and closer to Myeong-dong, and the subway station is close. Among several hotels, Hotel Thomas Myeongdong seems to be the cheapest. According to the dates I searched, it costs about $80 per night. Hope this helps. Get ready for a fun trip.
Nice modern hotel but the room seemed very small for the money. I think maybe it is worth staying at a hotel that is not as new/modern if you have more space. You still get excellent service in Korea. The first hotel I stayed in was Kpop Hotel Seoul Tower. But we just found it to small. Liked the little terrace and view. A fun fact for visitors is you will not see floor 4 button in elevators in many building in Korea because of superstition!
That's right. Because it is a hotel run by a Japanese company, the rooms seem a bit small. I’m also curious about kpop hotels. What you found interesting is the superstitions that persist in some Asian countries. This is because the pronunciation of 4 is the same as the word meaning death in countries influenced by Chinese characters. So, instead of naming the old building as the 4th floor, it was made the 3rd floor and then the 5th floor. But this superstition is gradually being forgotten, so new buildings have four floors.😄
@@4KKOREA I noticed more in older buildings so it makes sense. I knew about it before going but was surprised to see it first hand! The Kpop Hotel I was in was close to Seoul Tower and Namdaemun Market so it was close to a lot of stuff I wanted to see. Just a small cheaper hotel.
I have not yet visited the hotel you mentioned. It's a hotel located in the center of Myeongdong Street. I will make a note of it in the list of hotels I will be working on videos from. Thank you for your suggestion.😀

@@4KKOREA Try the one just at the exit 9 of Myeongdong station ! It was my hotel for one month last year. Best experience in Korea.
