Hey Mr. and Mrs. Humble I live down here in southwest FL and I have red passion vine going everywhere. It does not produce fruit just plenty of beautiful red flowers. I would love to get what you have and start it down in my bottom and let it take over the edge of my swamp. Please let me know if I can get young plants or fruit or seeds from you. Love to all and God Bless.
This was awesome. Yes indeed, rhe Most High always knows what to give us to keep our families well. Every year, some new healing plant springs up on our property. We always make something great with them too. Ahh, His goodness and mercies do truly endure forever 🙌🏾 Happy Sabbath
My granny swore by maypops and how good they tasted and how good they were for you it was something she LOVED to forage for...question yall selling any seeds from it or cuttings? nevermind i got to the part of the video where you said you were going to save seeds i'll look in the etsy store when they pop up i'll grab some.
I am in North Texas. My sister and I went hiking last year at a Park in the Fort Worth Area. We found a passion vine, it had a flower just like this one. I don't know what kind it was, but the flower was beautiful! I do that that there is a passion vine hear that produces little deep purple fruits. It could have been that one we saw at the park. Beautiful plant!
A fun fact and an even more fun family anecdote, about maypops: Fact: They make fantastic jelly. Anecdote: When we were kids (and when my mom, now 74, was a kid) we used to use the overripe (too far gone fruit) like baseballs. We would toss them to each other from a decent distance, hit it with a bat, and try our best to get them to land in the hog pen. Daisy and Dinner (our hogs) loved them as a treat, and we had a blast with our game. It was so fun. Edit to add: When I bought my property 18 years ago, I did so because the grove in the back 40 was COVERED in maypops. Edit again to add: Maypops spread by underground runners and a single vine can grow upwards to as much as 25ft. So if you do plant them in your yard, keep them contained as best as you can or place them in an area where you dont mind if they take completely over.
Beautiful plant and flower 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I will certainly order some seeds when they become available. Also I sowed my callaloo today…praying for a bountiful harvest

The leaves look very similar to sassafras leaves.
I need this for anxiety, or maybe some chamomile. Lol. 😂😂😂😂....👀

They're only tasty when the skins are dry and crackly. Then, they have a pineapple-kiwi-ish taste. I love this plant. Thank you, Sir!
