Wow Im Glad to see your still making youtube videos.Been a long time since i’ve been on this channel. Lots of memories from my childhood from watching old firework sets to seeing you make motor tubes🔥Continue what your doing and know you make people like me happy❤️
I watched one of my old videos from 10 years ago, and the price difference is pretty wild. I remember buying Excals wholesale for $22 a 24 kit back in 2013.
Been going to Northwestern Missouri stands for 25 years. This year went to Twisted Thunder, their new location in Council Bluffs, IA is closer to me anyways, and their prices and item selection crushed everyone else I've checked out. To compare they had the quick fuse for $14.99, jumbo snow cone fountain $17.99 (saw it for $39.99 in this video), and 24pk excalibur for $89.99. Also got a pack each of death shells and cowabunga shells for $119.99 each, radioactive rockets $29.99 a pack, and a 28 shot wooden mortar rack for $139.99 (which i have always wanted because I'm too lazy to build one myself no matter how many times I watch your tutorial videos) That all being said, I still need to pull the trigger and go wholesale. Just did my yearly show last night and it was well over 2k even with stockpiling a bunch of stuff last year after the 4th when the tents were half price.
Not bad pricing! I agree, definitely look at wholesale next year. I popped into the Firework Super Store to see what their pricing is like and I was a bit surprised how much it went up, but still the best retail pricing anywhere I have seen. Excals were still $79.99 and plenty of 500g cakes for $40-50.
Now I just got to figure out which wholesaler to go with. Been between American Wholesale, Victory Wholesale, Superior, and RedApple. They all look good, guess I'll have to start an underground fireworks stand out of the garage next year. 😁
Everyone knows tent & store prices are always high. Which makes videos like these fun to watch in my opinion, seeing all the different price points. Appreciate u for spending all that money for viewers entertainment! Lol going to a tent does bring me back to childhood days tho!
I agree, I have tried to do online wholesale videos and they don't get nearly the same level of views as something like this. I agree, tent shopping is nostalgic!
I haven't been able to find a Dragon Duel yet. It's one of my "must buys". I love anything with the swimming stars effect. Twistee from Shogun is another one I REALLY want.
The price of consumer fireworks is truly a joke anymore. They taxed them to death and the fees and insurance that merchants have to pay to bring these to you is nothing but a cash grab by the state and feds. It’s Chinese cardboard and fertilizer for Pete’s sake. Those prices are 4x what they should be.
The entire firework climate over the last two years has been rough with high shipping costs and the constant firework factory shut downs in China. It's finally starting to stabilize so we will see what the next year or two hold for prices.
@@Willppyro i found 24 pack of canister shells for $75 bucks, they are 4 inchers but still a good deal with how the prices are now in michigan where i live lol
Thanks for stopping by! I've been pumping out new videos every week. Most definitely, I am generally at all the major pyro events, including the NFA that will be in Fort Wayne in September this year.

Wow pretty high prices! The matrix pyro near me in new hampshire is $18.95, had a sale memorial day weekend where everything was buy one get one half off so came to $14 each! I understand a lot of places have these prices but it is important for people to know there are other options including wholesale, etc. prices probably also vary a lot depending on the state too I would assume. Looking forward to your wholesale video!
I'd go nuts on those novelties. There's a mom and pop place I drive to that have the most insane novelty isle I've ever seen. Dragon Duel looks super cool. That's an effect I was looking to get this year, so I picked up a case of The Scrambler by Raccoon, but after firing one to test, I wish I would have grabbed a case of Dragon Duel. Some effects just work better in smaller cakes, and I think that scrambling effect may be one of them - but we'll see. It'll be awesome either way. We should keep in mind that it's those high prices people pay that wait until the last minute - or just want to have a little fun on the fourth - it's what helps keep the wholesale prices down. I think sometimes us serious pyros forget that not everybody is insane like us. Lol.
That's awesome about that mom and pop shop! I am really looking forward to Dragon Duel for that scrambling effect. You don't see that in a lot of consumer fireworks. Yeah, the average person that shops at tents like this are spending under $100. Most of us 1k+ a year people are already buying wholesale.
I picked up a case of smoke in mirror for the forth also a case of 500g called crack of dawn 16 shot by brothers and those breaks are incredible and really good altitude.
Rocket fireworks in wright city mo is best prices in the nation. Have never seen anyone even come close. Interesting to see the spirit tent. Saved me the drive.
Blows the superstore away on price. Selection is obviously less but they have all the best stuff at prices well bellow any other store in the country. And its a great family owned business.

Got great stuff for all day fun in this trip, smoke, fountains, crackers, crackle balls (man do those all the time) aerial spinners, rockets, cakes, ball shells.... Great mix!! Love the little 5 dollar cakes! Ouch on the take me to your leader price!!! I really want to find some TAKO products they are hard to find for me!!
@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics For sure. They're super helpful and have great prices. Nothing against this tent, just wanted to extend a headsup to people willing to drive more!
Im glad i live in a cheaper area. Just went to a tent and although they only sold fountains their prices ranges from 75 cents to 60 dollars. I bought 60 bucks at the tent and the store it would have been 200-300 $ in a brick and mortar): i wish fireworks were cheaper
Those prices are ridiculous. IMO fireworks have just gotten too expensive lately, but I’m still finding a way to save money. I live in Indiana, but all the best fireworks deals seem to be in Michigan. I saved several hundred dollars on my show this year by buying cases of fireworks from Red apple, then buying the rest of my items from Pro Fireworks in Michigan. Occasionally Pro fireworks will run a deal where you can buy heavily discounted shells or cakes for wayyy less than their usual price. I’ve seen them run specials like $40 canister shell kits or a case of 6 500G cakes for $100. My strategy this year was to wait for Pro fireworks to run a deal on their shells kits, buy all my shells on that day, then pick up my cases of fireworks from red apple on the same day. I did this all the way back in March. If I were to buy the same fireworks right now, I would be spending $600-700 more.
Have you looked into buying wholesale? I have a few videos on the topic that you may find helpful. Regardless, you're doing it right and buying when there are deals to be had!
Thanks for the video I have not bought retail in probably two or three years can’t believe how expensive retail is $500 and you barely got anything you did get some nice things though
Those prices make me realize that living in michigan ain't so bad lol. That nishiki ghost noab is damn near the price i paid for northern beast and dday😬
Whole sale or if you know a guy. I got a 500g, several 200/300g cakes, 2 468 shot roman candles, 90 shot roman candle. Several packs of regular Roman candles, and a couple 6pk ball shells for about $200 last year. This year I'm thinking about spending the money for a 24pk of canister shells. I'm not sure what he will have this year but what do you recommend for canister shells?
Neon Beef are newer and pretty nice. Raccoon fireworks also has a bunch of different shells that are popular on shelves right now (break the rules is the one I got this year)
Hey I know I’m late but man as broke as I am you got me messed up if I’m going to a tent lol then prices are high at least they are for me but they do have some cool stuff and also can you shoot a ball shell from a canister shell tube or shoot a ball shell from a different ball shell tube?
Do you know what size the ball shell is? Some of the 1.75" ball shells will fire fine from the tubes in canister shell kits. However, for the smaller 1.5" shells it would be better to use the tubes that come with them or source some smaller diameter tubes for racks.
Ok yea I tried to shoot the Pixelz ball shell that are 1 3/4 inch shell diameter out of another ball shell tube that’s called powder keg because I couldn’t find the actual Pixelz tube and I wasn’t sure if it woulda worked out of an canister Shell tube and I guess the ball shell blew up but the tube was still ok it was just the ball shell was basically cut in half sooo idk? Sorry for the long comment to btw
Man y’all have it good lol. Why are people complaining about the prices. Those prices seem so reasonable & beautiful 2 me since I’m from California which equals “illegal fireworks” here. man once these fireworks get here it’s an arm & leg on single items & even more expensive for whole packs 😢😂
Just picked up a wholesale order from 76 yesterday and stopped by the tent. Don't understand how the tent stays in business with the wholesale prices. But also stopped at Rocket's Fireworks in Wright City on the way home, retail priced at wholesale. Case prices were the same or cheaper than I paid at 76 with gold pricing. Kinda disappointed. Could have 3 hours of driving. Live and learn.
I hope that stand supported a charity group or church or something because those prices made me cringe. Even at a $500 budget wholesale is the only way to go.
Oof, some of those prices are just outrageous. 95 for a girandola? I got that exact same one for $35. Those 500g for over 100 each, I’m in shock lol. How are fireworks so much money lately?
Retail, those girandolas are always pricey. My best wholesale discount is $32. I specifically wanted to point out prices so the wholesale video coming this week made more sense.
They have light brigade for $63!?? Rocket Fireworks in wright city mo( not to far from Colombia) has that cake for $20 flat. They have a whole wall of $20 500g cakes
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics yessir. I know I've spammed you about them lately so I'll stop but I was just so pleased by their store and prices that I wanted to spread the word around. I've could have saved so much money over the years if I knew about them earlier, I just want more people to know about them so they can get more fireworks for their budget
5 years ago you could get 5 times that amount and I would not have gotten the small stuff for over $100, you could have bought artillery shells for that price and your kids love you even more...!

my dad stopped at a local tnt tent that sets up every year here in central pa. they cant have arial items since they have no sprinkler system or some sort of restriction however he just wanted to see prices and he said most of the small fountains were 15-20 dollars each! like wtff
That is interesting about the PA laws on sprinkler systems. In a lot of other states, temp tents are exempt from sprinkler systems as long as they are X distance away from stuff, have 24 hour security, etc. So you have someone literally sleeping in the tents here lol. Yeah, tent prices are usually on the high side, especially TNT and Phantom locations unless you have their buy one, get two coupons.
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics The tents here in PA sold aerial’s like two years ago but then had to get rid of them since they didnt have the proper safety systems aka a sprinkler system. We usually take a two ish our drive to badaboom fireworks or sky king fireworks. Wild how its changing lol

That's a nice price for sure. A lot of people seem to recommend Rocket, but I have not been there personally.
I think all of us pyros would agree with you too
Another amazing video! Keep up the great content!
Thank you! Plenty more on the way, all year round haha
Yeah! Hahah! 😂
Those turbo charged shells are 30 gram shells. Theyre still really great.
I look forward to lighting them!
Thanks god they put the price some ……… what reasonable 😂 for turbo charged shells cause smaller box less tubes stil high price 😅 nice lovely video !
Thanks for watching!
Regardless, you're doing it right and buying when there are deals to be had!
have a good 4th of july man thanks for the video
You as well brother! Thanks for watching as always
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics i sure will and your welcome anytime
I like the variety of the selections but $20 for one package of Quick fuse is insane.
Yeah mostly because of how rare quick fuse is these days. I haven't found it for cheaper than $15 this year.
Wow. Those prices are insanely high!! Shouldn’t have been more then a $150 for those few items. Happy I’m 1.3 now. I’d never go back to consumer!!
And that is why I just posted a video on buying wholesale too.
Hey Joel, any tips on where to find Tako? Nobody near me has it and I’ve been having trouble online.
Check out their website: 76fireworks.com/find-fireworks-near-me/
I'm doing a wholesale video on this on Tuesday as well.
Sweet vid as always, pyro on brother
Appreciate it! Cheers sir
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics 🍻👍👊
Thanks for the video I have not bought retail in probably two or three years can’t believe how expensive retail is $500 and you barely got anything you did get some nice things though
I feel you, I primarily buy wholesale as well.
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics
Oh, I know I watch most of your videos you got great content man love your store tours
@@Midlopyro469king Right on, thanks for the support!
Those prices make me realize that living in michigan ain't so bad lol. That nishiki ghost noab is damn near the price i paid for northern beast and dday😬
Michigan ain't so bad! Haha, I love it
Whole sale or if you know a guy.
Raccoon fireworks also has a bunch of different shells that are popular on shelves right now (break the rules is the one I got this year)
Agree with the Winda/Raccoon recommendation. There are some awesome kits by both of those companies out there. Haven't had a bad kit from Raccoon yet.
@@jarredah thanks, I'll see what he has hopefully he is able to get those.
Totally agree with wholesale if your spending quite a bit of money, only downside is having a bunch of the same item. By the way, nice shopping video.
Totally! I talk about that in the upcoming wholesale video too.
Which is crazy because that is basically people driving over to Pahrump, NV, and bringing stuff back to resell.
Most people just don't know about wholesale, or, they don't like having four of the same 500g cake. Rocket's sounds like an awesome spot
I hope that stand supported a charity group or church or something because those prices made me cringe. Even at a $500 budget wholesale is the only way to go.
That's why I mentioned wholesale at the end and have a video coming out this week on the topic!
I have noticed i get more 200gm cakes and let other people spend the money on the 500s. Yes they are nice but i like long and more shots for my money.
That is a great strategy. I always say 200g cakes are underrated!
Gotcha, but why buy anything from there and get ripped off?
@@beemerguy2160 I have a wholesale video releasing in 30 minutes that will make more sense.
Wow for a tent in Missouri, those prices were steep!
I find tents are generally more expensive than brick & mortar shops.
I want to start a petition to legalize unsafe and sane fireworks like these kinds of fireworks in California. Who’s down? If so, like this comment.
They have light brigade for $63!?? Rocket Fireworks in wright city mo( not to far from Colombia) has that cake for $20 flat. They have a whole wall of $20 500g cakes
Rocket Fireworks has some of the best pricing around!
@@pyrofloki No you're all good, I'm all for awareness of good stores to go to!
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics thanks man! Means a lot! Have a safe and happy 4th bro
@@pyrofloki You as well brother!
This prices are dumb high have you ever went to PA? Phantom? They also got coupons
PA has some excellent stores, but I'd avoid Phantom personally.
5 years ago you could get 5 times that amount and I would not have gotten the small stuff for over $100, you could have bought artillery shells for that price and your kids love you even more...!
Haha, you are not wrong!
$230 for one firework that will last 30 seconds is crazy you can get Janet and Sara at the same time for an hour for that price an have change for a bag of fries
Wow prices skyrocketed wont be buying fireworks anytime soon guess i watch my neighbors 🎉
Check out my wholesale video coming on Tuesday. Might change your mind!

BBQ!
I’d be traveling acrosss state lines or ordering online with those tent prices lol
And that is exactly what I did to show the difference between tent and wholesale: th-cam.com/video/vIz4KHJvM_s/w-d-xo.html
Let's goooooo
Almost the 4th!
You should do a Caleb with another youtuber who has a firework channel like CodyBfireworks 💥
I've met Cody a few times but have never done a collab. I've done collaborations with a lot of smaller firework TH-camrs. Boom In the Sky, 319 Pyros, etc.

my dad stopped at a local tnt tent that sets up every year here in central pa. they cant have arial items since they have no sprinkler system or some sort of restriction however he just wanted to see prices and he said most of the small fountains were 15-20 dollars each!
Damn firework is very expensive in the USA compared to Europe
Hey Joel I got a ? Do you know where to get the cakes superman&witch doctor?200 shot with salutes???
Depends on where you are located. Most places that carry that stuff keep it pretty hush and won't sell to everyone.
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics ok not this year but maybe NXT year I'm willing to travel to get 1 if any is available.i see most in california.thx for info

I agree, I love So76's Tako line and especially their Pro Line. I'm doing a wholesale video on their stuff coming Tuesday
Hopefully you picked up some Black Cat fireworks
This location doesn't carry Black Cat. I'm honestly not much of a Black Cat fan outside of their firecrackers
Places still high on prices. Id still rather spend at a tent like this than Phantom or Sky King.
I'm right there with you
