Total horse shit ! Amy can't do half of the rock vocalizations that Lzzy does effortlessly! Her screams , rasp , power wale , & even her range is bigger than Amy's. All Amy has is a great tone to her voice. Nothing truly rock about her voice . It's simply EV behind her that even constitutes her as a rock vocalist. Listen to Lzzy sing Crazy on you by Heart & then ask yourself if Amy could half ass pull that off . Its not horse shit at all. I am a vocalist. Rasp and screaming is not singing. I can sing Heart better than Lzzy hale. Its not hard. Yes Lzzy can sing but she is not the best singer out there. Sorry dude. Amy Lee has amazing range and can definitely sing any Heart song thrown her way. Ann Wilson was the one who started it all for woman in rock, she's a pioneer. Lacey Sturm is better than Lzzy Hale.

Except it isn't. This version is actually Halestorm (the whole band) covering a Shinedown song and having Brent Smith on guest vocals. As stated in the description, it was part of a Halestorm special survey, not a Shinedown survey.
@Melanieshaman Nahh, Hes lip syncing, in a live breaking inside video, Brent "sings" the wrong lyric, but the song says something different. Myles may not sound exactly on par with the album, but whats the point if they sound EXACTLY the same, its just not a "live" experience. Kennedy is touring and making an album with Slash, and has done work with former Zeppelin members(Page,etc). Somethings working for him.

They both did a version of the song, obv. Brent originally wrote it but gave Halestorm permission to record their own version. Lzzy and Brent are friends, so I don't see how there would be an issue and why everyone on TH-cam is making a big deal when they aren't even batting an eyelash at the fact. Grow up people. Its a good song anyway, just enjoy it.
That would be an incredible album. Lzzy has an amazing voice BUT Brent has such strength in his voice that she doesn't 'bully' him out of the song. I'd love to hear a collaboration album between Smith and Hale.
Even though it's a little soft for my liking, I think Halestorm and Shinedown should start working together more often. They could make a badass combination!
