I made 4 pieces of la'bian 朥餅 last evening making just a quarter of the recipe and I used lard rather than synthetic white fat and I baked the four pieces of la'bian rather than deep fry them. I must say the wrapper skin is very good and highly recommended. Thank you for the recipe. I also reduce the amount of sugar for the ouni.

Lily Kow you could still hear both Chinese and English but the English translation should be louder than the Chinese when using the right earpiece and vice versa.
