I've continued to call Lloyd's element Energy, but as Chen called it Power and Roby called it Life, I've decided when it comes to Lloyd's element, no one in Ninjago actually knows what the heck it actually is. Honestly I believe Lloyd's power skipped a generation and derives directly from the FSM.
Lloyd's power is the combination of the remaining elemental energy that came from the original four elements of creation used into one creating what is Lloyd’s element and that’s why at times you see other properties from the original four elements in Lloyds power
I could see it as the FSM's powers were split between Wu and Garmadon, and since Lloyd is an only child and Wu never had any children, the powers of the FSM were all given to Lloyd. The reason that the FSM's powers were split between Wu and Garmadon and eventually Lloyd is because the FSM's powers are so different and unique that they can be held by multiple users at a time.

My own theory about Lloyd’s power is that it is essentially the same as Chi, a sort of Life Force of the universe that he can use to create energy blasts and such with, and is connected to all elements, which is how he was able to use The Elements Of Creation with his power and eventually achieve Golden Power, and posses every element, similar to how Chi can become infused with elements to create variants like Fire Chi. I’m guessing that when they wind up going to Chima, (Ras is from there so they will probably wind up there at some point.) they’ll figure it all out, or someone like The Phoenix will explain.
I think that the first elemental master of energy was the first spinjitzu to master since He was the original owner of all elemental powers, and since he got his elemental power from the source dragons, I think the same applies to Lloyd that’s why Lloyd is not the first master of energy or whatever his elemental power is called
I love that they make it canon that you can go to the giant billboard where Jay met Wu and go to Marty Oppenheimer's Dance School and see Cole's class picture before he fled to go climb mountains. Seems like Lloyd has a lot more he can achieve with his Element and I HOPE he starts learning this.

To be claimed by a source dragon, you must have one of their elements, for example, Lloyd's power is under the life source dragon so he is claimed by Life and Kai’s power is under the source dragon of motion, so he is claimed by Motion and the same as said for any dragons claimed by the source dragons

I wouldnt be surprised if the Overlord makes constant reappearances for as long as the Ninjago franchise runs, whether that's in spinoffs, sequel/prequel stories or whatever coz he cant die since hes the embodiment of evil itself and he continues to build up over time until hes powerful enough to return and can never be truly defeated unless evil is completely been rid of
