    Thanks for being brave and sharing your story. My first lesions appear in the infant layer of my brain, likely caused by a severe mmr reaction at 9 months old. Essentially I’ve had it my entire life and I’m 56. The last 15 yrs have been rough. I just started Kesimpta and it’s the first med not giving me bad side effects. I’m very hopeful now. Be hopeful everyone. The science is starting to catch up. I can be scary, frustrating, and lonely but being pro active is the way to empower yourself. MILLIONS of Americans have this disease. We need to find out why. My dr suspects over vaccination and viruses as a major causes, along with many other researchers. The fatigue issue is huge! You feel so lazy, unproductive. One day at a time is all you can do.

      Thank you! I am currently waiting to start Kesimpta, and being told I need to get the MMR vaccine first, then wait a month. I hope the vaccine doesn't cause any issues for me.

    I developed MS last year while living in Spain. My first symptom was a burning sensation in my left leg, loss of balance, and leg pain/difficulties walking. I went to an urgent care thinking I had injured my back while moving recently. The doctor at the urgent care sent me to internal medicine. That doctor sent me for an MRI. I got the results back from the MRI and read there were 14 lesions found. I googled brain lesions and panicked when I read it's brain damage. I went to a different urgent care because I was scared, couldn't walk well, and half my face was paralyzed. That doctor called an ambulance. I spent a month in the hospital before being diagnosed. Shortly after being released from the hospital I apparently fell down a flight of stairs and someone took me to the ER. I spent 2 months in the ER but have very little memory of it. Because the lesions were on my frontal lobe I started to experience visual hallucinations and aggression. The US embassy had to get involved and two of my family members flew out to remove me from the country.
    It's gonna be a rough road ahead but we'll make it

      I’m so sorry for all that you have gone through! 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I can’t even begin to imagine having all these symptoms! I’m hoping you find some healing, hopefully with medicine advancing and new studies we can get some progress in healing MS! I hope you have a lot of support in your life to endure the challenges ahead ❤️

      @@selecttravelvacations7472 I'm for sure physically better. Now just have to try to navigate the emotional aspect of it all

    • @selecttravelvacations7472
      @selecttravelvacations7472 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@MaSa-qv7pi the emotional aspects are the biggest struggle, for sure. The younger you are at diagnosis, the harder. The toughest for me is when I’m determined to accomplish something and my body just won’t let me. Fatigue is a tough battle to win. I’m glad you are doing better physically! That’s huge! I started Kesimpta last month after 13 years no treatment (Betaseron previously), and it actually has me feeling better. I didn’t expect to feel better. Accomplishing a great deal right now and very grateful for this newer drug. On the emotional struggle, please don’t get down on yourself about that. I think that’s what makes it toughest, we get on to ourselves for things like feeling lazy, not accomplishing enough, or just getting tired of being sick so often. Know you are not alone and millions of us struggle too. Thanks for being brave and talking about it and don’t forget, Laughter is the best medicine for an MS’er. Sending Love your way.

    Thank you so much for making this video . Diagnosis in July 2022 . This is so comforting, better than any therapy session I have had since July . A total sense of wow yes she understands and it saying it out loud for me to validate myself and all these things I’m going thro with MS . No one In my family has MS , every therapist/ counselor I got to looks at me like I have 3 heads , no help at all from them , I keep searching for someone who understands, and here you are . Thank you 🙏 ❤

    Has anyone tried low dose Naltrexone (LDN) for their autoimmune disease? It is a compounded prescription that is an antagonist that doesn't work on just one part but instead tries to help your body regain homeostasis.

    Arrived here searching for technical DJI infos, and then heard your remarkable statement about "what will make someone to a victim", which applied very much with a narcissistic person I came too close to.
    Though the context doesn't seem the same, I find your words universal, and I want to thank you for reminding me to have made the right decision to part 💚
