Although I do not still own the xmid, everything I've had from Durston has been quality built, innovative, and most importantly, stood behind with excellent customer service. Keep Smilin'
What’s your experience with condensation in the Enan. I just got one and have experienced very heavy condensation, even when it’s dry outside. I’ve now heard from others as well that the Enan is especially susceptible to condensation. I guess you always have to sleep with the door open if it’s not raining?
I don't usually have that problem. I do leave the door open a lot, but also make sure the end flaps are open and not blocked by gear. I seldom close mine unless the weather is extreme. My usual setup is the flaps wide open and the door opening half zipped down from the top. Condensation is a given, but should not be a constant problem. I'm headed for the Florida Trail and I do expect a lot of condensation there, but that is exactly why I prefer a double walled tent. Good luck, hope this helps. Keep Smilin'
I have found the Enan to be good with condensation. I always use a ground cloth and then use the double zipper just to keep a two to five inch or so opening near the top and also keep the bottom of the zipper unziped to about five inches from the bottom. Site selection when possible may also help. Both end vents are always open, even in the rain and I should mention that I tend to use the Enan only in hot muggy weather. (we have a lot of that in the piedmont and coastal regions of N.C.) I have trouble with condesation with my Soulo. More than any other tent. I don't yet have a ground sheet for that tent, and wonder if that contributes to the moisture buildup, or if perhaps it's because I use it in colder weather?
Thank you for making these videos which are both inspiring and helpful. Keep talkin'. 😊

Good info.
That is really great information. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it. Hope it helped. Keep Smilin'
Great stuff as always. Good to know that you still like your Kakwa 40l pack. I’m looking at Durston’s new 30L Wapta for weekend trips.

Looks like an old map of Grand Traverse Bay in the background? Happy Trails!
Yes. It's an old county map. Happy New Year
Have a safe adventure on the Florida Trail.
Thanks. Lots of logistics to get there. Plane, bus, train, bus, automobile, finally boots. Keep Smilin'
How do you keep critters out of your food when you sleep at night?
I snore loudly. Keep Smilin'
Seriously, I have had critters chew on my tent, but never get into my food. Only hang in griz country. Usually in my pack, in my tent with me.
