13년 3월군번으로 훈련소와 후반기교육을 마치고 자대에 갔을 때.. 첫 주말을 맞이하고 침상에서 무릎 위 주먹쥐고 뻣뻣하게 각잡고 앉아 티비로는 감히 얼굴도 못돌리고 정말 귀로만 수십 수백번을 들었던 노래.
13-14년사이 군복무중 보고 들었던 온 나라를 떠들석하게 만들었던 수많은 명작, 명곡들... 명량, 인터스텔라, 겨울왕국, 국제시장, 엑소의 으르렁, 가왕 조용필의 복귀, 크레용팝의 빠빠빠, 도대체 저건 뭐냐고 했던 방탄소년단의 데뷔(군대였기때문에 그룹명자체에 거부감이 심했음) 등등...
떠올려보자면 정말 끝도없이 많겠지만 가장 기억에 남는건 아침출근길마다 듣는 헬로비너스의 이 노래다..
이상하게 심장이 콩닥콩닥하게 만들고 왠지 벅차오르고 힘차지는듯한 노래..
꼭 역주행해서 더 많은 사람들이 들어주고 오랫동안 기억해줬으면 좋겠다.

차마실래?로 드디어 뜨겠다 했는데 갑작스런 긴 공백기와 결국 팀 리빌딩.. 그때 가장 좋아했던 유아라, 앨리스가 빠지게 됐고 컨셉도 섹시로 변경하면서 아쉬워하며 덕질 그만 뒀었는데..(멤버 탈퇴가 가장 마음 아팠음ㅠ) 나의 중학생 시절은 정말 헬로비너스가 큰 축이었다 항상 노래듣고 사진도 보고 동경심도 가지고 제가 음악을 하고 싶게한 이유 중 하나였음 쓰다보니까 추억에 잠기네.. 내가 앞으로 인생을 살면서 헬로비너스처럼 열정적으로 덕질할 연예인이 있을까 싶다

YooAra hardcarried the group when it started since she looks a like a mix of Yuri and Yoona. That is why when she left, the group fell hard.

When I first got into K-pop, my friend introduced me to Hello Venus. This, along with What Are You Doing Today?, was one of my very first K-pop songs. It's just sad that I might never see this concept by them ever again. I may not have officially joined their fandom, but I did love their music. They've changed, and I'm a big fan of the sexy concept, but what they're doing now is just not my style. I guess I just really came back here to reminisce the old days. Sigh.

They going to be replacing Afterschool soon, so they are changing the style to pick up from where Afterschool is currently at.
Joey Sakura umm... no... that's not gonna happen... after school has used totally different styles and still they kill it. HV meanwhile has only done two different concepts. They are far from AS. In addition, they are not in the same company now, so I don't see the need of comparing.
Joey Sakura that is a very good speculation, but Hello Venus current belongs to Fantagio. I think Pledis no longer has ties to Hello Venus now that Ara and Yoon Jo aren't part of the group (since it was a collab between the two companies). I think HV's new concept is just them trying to grow as a group.

i keep rewatching this video and feeling so sad. like honestly they could have SLAYED if they were given proper promotions. they were all dead pretty and their songs were dead catchy and their concepts were so refreshing and sweet. like why didnt pledis and fantiago just give them a chance? it's so frustrating
okay so i realize that I wrote this in a middle of a rage and i realize that the comment was slightly mean on my part. Seoyoung and Yeoreum are cute i really love them a lot and i was just angry when i said they were as pretty as other members. they are, i was just not used to them which is why i had thought like that. anyways, i'm so glad fantiago is actually promoting them though.

It's a shame they changed the concept while in Fantagio but very lucky they were still promoted by Fantagio, even though at that time Fantagio and Pledis ended their joint venture.

I remember having this song in my old USB and its crazy how back then I loved the MV song and barely remembered the song but listening to it in 2021 is so random considering I can actually understand half of the song which i thought was always about multiple girls liking the same dude. Also I remember always seeing Kwon Nara and thought she looked hella familiar, NOW I REMEMBER IT WAS FROM THIS 😂 Also the last girl when they all have their "solo shots" I still remember thinking she was hella pretty and i still think that 😂😍

I think what I miss most about Hello Venus is Ara and Yoonjo. The new members are great, but I would've liked for them to explore new concepts together because if you watched any of their reality shows, they were all super close.

If only they had kept this concept and the members had been able to stick together, I just know they would’ve become so much bigger and maybe had their true breakout moment.
