This was such a bop, and it was my favorite song by them, along with Romantic Love. They were quickly becoming by favorite group, but as soon as Yoo Ara left, they suddenly went in a completely different direction.
Somebody who shares the same sentiment as me... I really do miss this kind of HV. :( And I was so sad that my favorites (Yoonjo, Yoo Ara) had to part ways with them 😭
They were pushing the girls to do sexy concepts to sell records and Yoo Ara and YoonJo wanted nothing to do with that. The rest that stayed and the 2 that joined looked so uncomfortable with it. My poor YooYoung having to shake her skinny butt.

I'm not here from anything or for anything other than this lineup of Hello Venus and this song. It hurts my heart knowing how much they struggled trying to make it but didn't.. I'm gonna cry.. 2nd gen kpop was a very hard era, especially for girl groups.
When I first got into K-pop, my friend introduced me to Hello Venus. This, along with What Are You Doing Today?, was one of my very first K-pop songs. It's just sad that I might never see this concept by them ever again. I may not have officially joined their fandom, but I did love their music. They've changed, and I'm a big fan of the sexy concept, but what they're doing now is just not my style. I guess I just really came back here to reminisce the old days. Sigh.

I think Pledis no longer has ties to Hello Venus now that Ara and Yoon Jo aren't part of the group (since it was a collab between the two companies). I think HV's new concept is just them trying to grow as a group.

i keep rewatching this video and feeling so sad. like honestly they could have SLAYED if they were given proper promotions. they were all dead pretty and their songs were dead catchy and their concepts were so refreshing and sweet. like why didnt pledis and fantiago just give them a chance? it's so frustrating

@@laynaran4890 Yes, of course. If HELLOVENUS is under the auspices of PLEDIS, maybe their fate will be the same as AFTER SCHOOL and PRISTIN, very less promotion. It's a shame they changed the concept while in Fantagio but very lucky they were still promoted by Fantagio, even though at that time Fantagio and Pledis ended their joint venture.
First knew Yoonjo from Men's Qualification, met other memebers from What Are You Doing Today, and joined fandom during Romantic Love... And then this song... That was my precious time... I really miss those times.
As a musician I agree. Asians love Pachelbel's Canon and this variation on the melody blended into dance pop rock says classic 2nd Gen kop at its finest. I'm old but and I never get tired of this song or it's naivete concept/theme. Early HelloVenus at thier peak cuz what came next was not the same group.

This was such a bop, and it was my favorite song by them, along with Romantic Love. They were quickly becoming by favorite group, but as soon as Yoo Ara left, they suddenly went in a completely different direction.

YooAra hardcarried the group when it started since she looks a like a mix of Yuri and Yoona. That is why when she left, the group fell hard.

They were pushing the girls to do sexy concepts to sell records and Yoo Ara and YoonJo wanted nothing to do with that. The rest that stayed and the 2 that joined looked so uncomfortable with it. My poor YooYoung having to shake her skinny butt.

I remember having this song in my old USB and its crazy how back then I loved the MV song and barely remembered the song but listening to it in 2021 is so random considering I can actually understand half of the song which i thought was always about multiple girls liking the same dude. Also I remember always seeing Kwon Nara and thought she looked hella familiar, NOW I REMEMBER IT WAS FROM THIS 😂 Also the last girl when they all have their "solo shots" I still remember thinking she was hella pretty and i still think that 😂😍

When I first got into K-pop, my friend introduced me to Hello Venus. This, along with What Are You Doing Today?, was one of my very first K-pop songs. It's just sad that I might never see this concept by them ever again. I may not have officially joined their fandom, but I did love their music. They've changed, and I'm a big fan of the sexy concept, but what they're doing now is just not my style. I guess I just really came back here to reminisce the old days. Sigh.

Joey Sakura umm... no... that's not gonna happen... after school has used totally different styles and still they kill it. HV meanwhile has only done two different concepts. They are far from AS. In addition, they are not in the same company now, so I don't see the need of comparing.

I think Pledis no longer has ties to Hello Venus now that Ara and Yoon Jo aren't part of the group (since it was a collab between the two companies). I think HV's new concept is just them trying to grow as a group.

@@laynaran4890 Yes, of course. If HELLOVENUS is under the auspices of PLEDIS, maybe their fate will be the same as AFTER SCHOOL and PRISTIN, very less promotion. It's a shame they changed the concept while in Fantagio but very lucky they were still promoted by Fantagio, even though at that time Fantagio and Pledis ended their joint venture.
