If they're saying the MVP voting was before the semi-finals then KD wouldn't have been a legit candidate. But KD was the MVP of that Olympics

KD and Steph at least should've been co-MVP. Steph was better in 3/4 games. You have to analyze a series game for game because a historically good or bad game can ruin your stats or improve you stats. For example KD vs Boston in 2022 was had 23, 27, and 16 thw first three games which is an average of 22ppg. But in Game 4 he had 39 points and his average went from 22 to 26.

You have to analyze a series game for game because a historically good or bad game can ruin your stats or improve you stats. For example KD vs Boston in 2022 was had 23, 27, and 16 thw first three games which is an average of 22ppg. But in Game 4 he had 39 points and his average went from 22 to 26.

It took an unconscious shooting performance by Curry and some very questionable officiating for the US to survive. It was clear the officials weren't going to let the US miss the gold medal game because it would have completely tanked the ratings. Curry played poorly through most of the tournament until those last two games.
