I run everyday about 4km and 5km. I prefer easy runs; still, last morning I woke up with some pain in my thighs. Why? Because I ignored post-run streching exercises. Last night was my first time streching after a run and this morning I felt much better, energised. Never ever shall I ignore streching again. Thank you!

I'm slowly making my way through your channel. As I've gotten into running, I've found I need two post-run stretching sessions-- a bit of relaxation immediately after, and then a longer, deeper session later on (the advice I read recommended an hour later, but I'm usually more like 6-10 hours later since I run midmorning and stretch again before bed). If I don't do the extra session, I'm suuuuper sore the next day or two and it's especially rough when I want to run again! It's so fun, I actively look forward to it like a kid excited to leave school to play video games! But if my body is in pain I gotta let it rest, ya know? Anyway, your videos have been my absolute favorite for my deeper stretching sessions. You demonstrate some deeper feeling stretches and they just release any soreness after my day and I can melt into bed. So thank you!

Thanks Ash. 3 weeks before the Bleinheim triathlon I went to the course and went a bit mad today. Some nasty hills of a gradient I'm not used to, so after your glutes and hips stretch, this bedtime stretch was a perfect finisher. Would love to see a longer one for, like 25mins for daft race days when you do things that perhaps you wouldn't normally do, if you know what I mean. 🙂

This might be an odd question but your voice is so reassuring, I'm wondering if you could do a short video for during a race or long run when you hit the "wall"
Coaching the runner through that emotional breaking point.
I haven't hit the wall yet myself but I have heard all about it from others.

Oh Ash this video meets me in the right place. I sprained my ankle 10 days ago and I finally took 4 days off running so I can heal. But I find it so hard to stop, I'm almost a little bit depressed ! This little stretching before sleep made me realize how much I need those resting days to come back stronger. Thank you as always!

I'm VERY new to running, i just started training in January and am running my first half marathon this Sunday in early May. Just wanted to say THANK YOU, I've been using your pre and post run stretches for a few months now and the only times when I've flet extra sore or had minor injuries have been when i skipped them. I've shared them with my friends who are also running with me and we all love them. Thank you.

Hey Ash, I’ve been away from your videos the last couple weeks recovering from carpal tunnel surgery. Back to running now and looking for wrist free stretch sessions. Any particular videos you’d recommend? Thanks for this one. I did reclined pigeon using one hand to pull my legs in. I’ve also done it with just using my leg strength.
