Well if that don't settle any of my concerns of the 3 Pro's longevity - Don't know what more you could have done to demonstrate it....
I must say this video answered most if not all the questions I had regarding this. I was skeptical of the durability of it but seeing it hold them up is very impressive. And I was able to hold one since my brother ended up getting one and was able to kinda try it out. I'll be picking on up within the next week or two.
I still love the design of the 1.0, wasn't overly impressed with the 2.0, but I've found the 3 Pro to be surprisingly awesome. The kickstand took a bit of getting used to, but once you snap it in place it's solid. Paired with the Speck Presidio2 Grip case is the perfect iPhone setup.
This is the kind of video that unboxing and reviews are suppose to be. No “tv magic”. Thank you.

I upgraded from v1.0, and I’m lovin’ it!
I have been a supporter of this company since Kickstarter! I've purchased every version of the ohsnap! I am convinced that I will never stop using these phone grips! But I wish that they would keep selling the old versions as they upgrade! The 1.0 (not the Kickstarter version but the first iteration of the circular ohsnap) was the best phone grip they have come out with. The 2.0 broke within 1 month of me buying it and I got the snap3 8 or 9 months ago and it still works as a grip, but it stopped snapping back into flat mode after 4 or 5 months of using it. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this company! And if I have to buy 4 ohsnaps a year I will! (The only reason I haven't replaced my current one is because I'm put of work on medical leave at the moment) to me, the product is worth it! But I still miss the 1.0 and wish they still sold it on their site! I'd buy 50 of them and be good for life! Best magnets ever and they were indestructible! 😢
Snap3 is still a great product!
I've only had this literally for a few hours and one thing that I already do not like is that I have to use two hands to open the grip when it is totally closed. This is unlike a popsocket or even your last design where I could easily slide my finger under the grip to "open" it.
I'm glad to see an updated video... though I prefer the elasticity of the Snap 2.0 (just needed stronger elastic to keep from breaking and stronger magnets to be used on other MagSafe devices), I didn't realize that I didn't need the metal ring when I originally tried the 3.0. I'm glad to hear him say that the adhesive can't be re-used if the grip was on a case. I thought I was losing my mind when I kept hearing it was reusable. It is disappointing, however, that we'd have to buy an adhesive pack if we want to change cases.
I wish that the previous versions were still available. Specifically, the car mount from the previous versions allowed better mounting options. I'm having trouble finding a flat surface in my car that the car mount would sit well
I wish you guys would bring back the 1.0 or 2.0 model. The 3.0 is not it when it come to ease of use. I found myself having to use two hands for tunnel mode. My phone doesn't feel as secure in one hand use. I'm having to buy china knockoff for parts to keep my 1.0 alive.
I was a skeptic. Bought oh snap 1.0, and 2.0. Neither were great. Broke down and bought this one a couple weeks ago and it is great. Nice demo on the durability as that is my biggest fear. And since the warranty is only 6 months vice a year on your other products, it has me a bit worried. But if its as strong as you say it is, it should be good for awhile. I have no complaints.
If it's a strong as they say it is and why not just have a standard warranty on it? Seems kind of suspect don't you think?
@@nolow_life yeah I agree. But I’m still loving it so far. It’s sleek. Strong. Can mag charge with it on. I was a huge skeptic but so far so good.
Just bought my first Ohsnap to go on my new iPhone 15 pro max and I LOVE it! I bought the car mount and a second snapmount for my house!
Are you using a case? Are you using the adhesive or did you leave on sticker peel? I switch between cases often and don’t want the sticker residue. I’m hoping the magnets are good enough.

Great review, I wanna give an update on the 3.0. I've had mine for 8 months and it has broken. The plastic hinges are actually still going strong, but if you have a 3.0, you'll see that the plastic hinges are attached to 2 panels that in turn are glued to the center plate that pops out. The panels are coming unglued from the center plate.
This happened to mines, I email them about it and they were happy to replace it.

This is the 3rd iteration of the oh snap stand and I absolutely love it. Ignore the naysayers and keep doing exactly what you're doing. Great products, best out there so far.
That last bit about the camera bump, maybe that add on could just be an additional magnetic ring specifically for the gym use and call it snap +!
I had my snap 3 Pro for a good year and some now. As he mention about your iPhone might not sit flat on surfaces because of the protruding camera what I found is that one you got a case that had a lip that’s equal to the height of the camera or just slightly does your phone will it have an issue sitting flat to any magnetic surface, in fact it will sit so good you’ll be able to slide 3 sheets of copy paper behind the camera once stuck to a surface. With that said the case is in a class of its own.
Can you use snap 3 on phones or cases of previous versions? Would this work with the metal ring from snap 2.0 for example?
Is the Storm Gray color the same as iPhones Sierra Blue? I have a see thru case with a pattern on it and I'm wondering if getting the Storm Gray will clash or if I should get the black Snap 3 Pro so that I will bypass that problem all together.
Will wireless charging still work with none magsafe compatible android phones? Like with a Qi wireless charger in a car for example
will it stick to other magnetic stands in the car? use to have 2.0 but when switching cases thee adhesive got messed up. then it wouldn't stick to a 4 magnetic stand i already use in my car. had to go back to mags inside my phone case to get it to work properly and ditch the qs2.0, which caused me to waste money, wa a shame cuz i like it when it did function.
Could I put this on top of a otterbox defender xt and still be able to use wireless charging? Also idek what MagSafe is (just transferred from an 11) is it a metal ring within the phone? Will this thing line itself up in the right spot?

I'd buy it but my snap 1.0 is still going strong. I also like that there are no magnets on it so I can use my s pen with my z fold 4.

The grip no longer clicks closed and it's only been around 2 months. They are replacing it, but it makes me worry about the replacement failing quickly too

For the galaxy s23 ultra, the magnets won't mess with the screen when taking notes?
I just got my snap 3 pro today. The only adhesive on it is around the outside edge of the grip. Nothing in the middle as you seem to have in this video. Also, after letting the adhesive sit for the recommended 6 hours, it didn't adhere to the back of my phone at all. And when I say it doesn't stick, I mean at all. If I pick the phone up the thing slides right of! Did I get a defective unit? Is there something in not doing right? Can you please get back to me ASAP? I spent a lot of money on this and the car mount. Like $80! Please help!

What’s the difference between the ohsnap 3 pro vs the ohsnap 4 luxe?
I’m enjoying mine. It works with my phone rebel case however unfortunately I have to take case off to put on charger for whatever reason laying it flat on the apple mobile charger with the grip and case on won’t pick up the charge. It does work on other chargers and accessories just not that apple travel charger.
Unfortunately most of Apple's chargers are really weak when it comes to distance, so really thick cases plus Snap 3 Pro can cause issues with Apple brand chargers.
Hey, would u guys consider adding the "tail" of the magsafe to a version of ur 4.0? Considering the fact that your 3.0 redesign allows the middle part of the grip to still rotate, adding that "tail magnet" of the magsafe is possible now. It can be a limited time just to test the water if u want, but I think if u do manage to add the "tail magnet" of magsafe, u'll b able to get more new customers that also wants that "tail magnet" (ik some ppl said that they didn't buy it bc of lack of the "tail magnet" part

When can I buy Snap Wallet products?
I loved my grip 1.0 and 2.0. But with 2.0, I switched to a magsafe car mount. Every time I tried to take out my phone from the car mount, the grip would stick to the car mount and come off my phone. It was very annoying to put it back every time. I preordered my 3 pro and I was happy with how thin it was. BUT same issue again, I would have to take off the grip off my car mount and slap it back on my phone. And one day I was messing with it and pressing it IN, the grip broke. I left a comment on their Instagram talking about it. They just blocked me instead. I've just decided to switch over to pop socket instead now.

How to buy Snap 3 Pro outside USA & Canada?
My biggest concern I’ve noticed, is that when the 3 came out there were videos of the phone being stood in a portrait mode as well as landscape. I don’t know who is that gentle with their phone when scrolling but if I have it portrait it falls over extremely easy. Kinda lame. Everything else works as shown.
Do these auto-align to the coil in the phones? Does it work with S23 Ultra and does it intefere with using S-Pen? Most magnets will make s-pen stop working in some areas.
I ordered one for my s23 ultra on the Mous Evolution case. Hopefully it works!
They say it doesn't affect it. I can't confirm though.

Or do the magnets affect the credit cards in your wallet if you phone is in the same pocket?
I have iphone15 and all MagSafe case and wireless charger. I can’t get chargers to work with Snapon3 on phone. Charger lights up for 10 seconds then disconnects.
So this is compatible with non MagSafe cases? If yes, is there any benefit to using it with a MagSafe case? Or will all MagSafe accessories work just fine with a non MagSafe case as long as the snap pro 3 in installed?
You are correct! The only benefit to using a MagSafe case is the auto-alignment of the Snap 3 Pro when installing, but you can feel your phone's magnets through most cases anyways.
Does the magnets get in the way when writing with the spen on S22 Ultra?
Not if it is attached to a non magsafe case. If this grip is attached to a magsafe case then yes it interferes with the S Pen. I have an S23U have have tried this with many magsafe cases

As long as you have a magsafe phone or a magsafe case can this be used without the adhesive? (Ex - the adhesive comes off from poor removal or I remove it myself because I don't want it)

I ordered one over a month ago and still haven't shiped it. Customer services says it wont ship anytime soon as well. A waste of $50. At least popsocket you get what you pay for RIGHT AWAY.
I heard the concern for iPhones was that a lot of cases are too thick to support MagSafe wireless charging through a snap 3 pro. Is this the case?
Edit: I bought one, tried it, it doesn’t work with most cases. The case has to be really thin. Poor marketing.
It depends on your case and charger. If you use our charger, Snapcharge, it will work through any case - we've tested the thickest. The standard Apple MagSafe charger has less tolerance for distance so it may not work with cases on the thicker side but it definitely works with most cases.

I really do like my OhSnap 3 but as far as durability, these are awful, I’ve had like six warranty exchanges, and they just keep breaking and I’m not doing anything excessively that would make them break. Now my warranty is expired and I’m probably done using this product.

Compare the magnets to the 1.0. Tell people it doesn't stick to all metals. Painted metals, etc. Tell people they need to buy snap mount to fully use the magnets.
The magnets on the 3.0 work just fine for me; it sticks to my (painted and waxed) vehicle when I’m filling up; it sticks to my (painted) filing cabinet in my office; it sticks to my (painted) freezer and (painted and textured) refrigerator… I don’t have ANY idea what you’re talking about by saying it doesn’t hold well.

Nice product, with one big drawback. If you stick it on a magsafe phone case, your phone will NOT charge.
Your Instagram ad says it goes for 25 lbs of pull force, but your video and website says 30 lbs of pull force. Which one is it?
Being someone who has bought every grip since the original, which was still the best, longevity has always been the downside of your product.
It depends on a few factors but it's a range around 25-30lbs. Either way, you're gonna rip the grip off your phone long before you break it. Snap 3 has been intentionally designed to be far more reliable, which is why we shifted the inner design from a silicone band to living hinges!
Why did you not have the phone in any case for the demonstration? Any sensible person normally keeps their phone in a case, so that's a deceptive red flag immediately right there.
The Snap Pro 3 only lasted 4 months then it broke. It wasn't the plastic that broke by the way, it was the glue attached to the small circle that loss its stickiness. My phone usage is probably about medium to high usage too. So maybe your miles may vary but I was disappointed. For what its worth, I was very impressed by it!! I would have been cool with it breaking if it at least lasted a year but too expensive for it to break in 4 months.

I was under the impression that. The Osnap 3.0 would also hold my Osnap Wallet. On to my Samsung galaxy phone. But it does not work at all. Why in the world would you have made. Your on wallet not Magsafe with the Osnap 3.0. It makes no sense what so ever. I mean I thought the whole idea was to make your system wallet and all. So it could also Magsafe on your phone. I know I heard you say it would do that.

This company claims yuou can get 25% off when you give them your phone and email. then it turns out you can't apply it to your order. You have to buy something else and then apply it. Forget about it.
3.0 still a bad product, LoL how many times chipped my nails. That double sided tape ain’t 3M heat resistant, comes off when my MagSafe is on it…

Magnets are NOT super strong. Does not stick to painted gym equipment. The snap 1.0 magnets are superior. I understand you changed the magnets in the 3.0 to get it to work with magsafe but the magnets are weak in the 3.0. My 1.0 sticks to all gym equipment.
The magnets are plenty strong enough to hold my iPhone 8Plus to the side of my (painted and waxed) vehicle while I was driving down the road at 35 mph, so I don’t know what you’re talking about. I’m not saying YOU don’t know what you’re talking about, and you obviously were there when I wasn’t. I’m just saying the magnets are plenty strong, even when dealing with painted or enameled steel.
If you have a Pixel 7 Pro, steer clear of this product. Does not adhere to the surface well at all.

Agreed. one of my two V2s broke and they warranty replaced it with a V3 (no complaints about customer service, at least) - I'd prefer to buy a V2 every six months than use the V3, it's a shame I can't buy them anymore
Man I miss the band. These new plastic ones are garbage. I had your original ones for years on multiple devices. Got stuck buying the oh snap 3 and I hate it soooo much. As a company you suck for not at least offering the ring kits for past models so we can re-use the ones we have.
The grip will not work all cases, and in fact 90% of the cases you will try won't work. Gluck contacting the company to get a list of compatible cases, because they don't have one. They told me to just not use a case with their grip. Worthless and no way to return even though this is false advertising (since they say it works with cases). All I want is to know which cases work. Not even reddit can help here as every thread eventually concludes that all cases users have tried do not work.

Trash product. Bring back the V2. That thing was perfect. The band was just so much easier to use. Y’all left the core reason of your existence: a phone grip company and instead focused your energy on wireless charging.

Loved version 2.0. Elastic band broke after 12 mos. Ordered new 3.0 verson. Grip is good. Kickstand is not. Engagement recess is not deep enough...Kickstand disengages easily. Very disappointed.
Love it! The only thing that's stopping me from purchasing one is the colors. None of them match my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra-red. 🫤
