I've been looking everywhere for an answer, I have same problem as you. Really sucks to have the Ctrl+V workflow disrupted so badly and not working in 2024. Ridiculous. I never paste formatting, it takes like 10 clicks to paste anything now. I used to just push ctrl+V
My issue is that the only option that I'm getting when trying to paste in Microsoft Word and Excel is "Keep Text Only". I've done everything in this video and reinstalled Microsoft Office several times and nothing. I've literally sat at my computer screen for over 8 hours and cannot find a solution.
I have the same issue on my other laptop. I am signed in using the same Microsoft account on both computers. I've even tried a system restore but issue still persists.
@@Daviddjx44 How do you paste? Using Ctrl+V or "right-click, selecting paste options?". In case you are using Ctrl+V, I request you to use "right-click, selecting paste options?" Below the "Paste options:", do you see all 4 options (Keep source formatting, Merge formatting, Picture, Text only)?
@@LearningHome-trainings I've tried to paste using CRTL+V, right click and by selecting paste on the top left hand of the screen. Below the "Paste options" I only see "Keep Text Only". This happens whenever I try to copy text that contains any formatting and images. For example: If I go on Wikipedia and copy all of the information including images, the only paste option I get in Word is "Keep Text Only". If I simply select CTRL+V then only unformatted text is pasted and the images are simply replaced with the word "image".
I have no 'default past options' in my Office 365 not any such options under File
