THIS IS THE STORY OF THE NYATITI
Nyatiti is a lyre of the Luo people. It has 8 strings that are tuned by adjusting raffia note that is tied on the cross bar or the yoke. Nyatiti music traditionally was played by men. The player accompanied the instrument using gara (shaker), and oduong’ a toe ring which strikes the arm of the lyre.

Beautiful music style
Marvelous! I loved the singing and dancing. I loved the modern and beautiful clothing. The traditional Nyatiti was adapted to be played like a guitar. But, I wonder why the women were made to dance bare feet on rough ground? That was unhealthy and primitive.
