Incredible!! IMO Pontiac from 62-68 had some of the best cars ever made, PERIOD. Nobody could touch their quality. You have one of the best my friend!!
That was really good the way you edited that together with the music over the top. CLASSY ! Also very surprising to see one of these driven like that, I really appreciate every tire squeeel and burned rubber screeech and what a beautiful classic Pontiac. Great upload /so much enjoyed it, Thanks !!
Haha, slung the same iron around 66 Bonne, 389 2bl with no springs and shocks left back in the day. At forty, throwing it in low while pouncing would break loose bald tires. Also smoke em up from just flooring it at a stop for half a block, with those baldies. Was the funnest and fondest of all my vehicles.
When I was a kid my uncle had a brand new one in midnight blue. I remember when he gave me a test tide and hit the gas, as in pedal to the metal. Threw me back into the seat. Lot's of power in those cars..amazing.
I know of a handful-GTO's are highly sought after, but I've only ever seen one Bonneville for sale in the UK .There is a Pontiac Owners Club so there is a lot of interest in them Best wishes Peter
Beautiful 66 Bonneville. Very nicely done video, shows the car well. Love the Bullitt chase scenes! I currently have a Burgundy 66 Bonneville convertible 389 4spd under restoration. Love to see yours this spring/summer. Ron (66 Bonneville & Star chief owner, NJ)
The PMD by far had the best looking front ends for decades, did they invent the over and under head light set up ? I cant get enough of those tv shows these days..ME TV plays all this stuff, shoot first ask questions later, beat info out of rousted punks, smokin at the desk,75 mph chases through crowded city streets & side walks, no foot chases shoot as they flee..... the good ol days : )
Have this on my favorites..I really like this video a lot. It should have more views. I have a 66 Bonneville but its not a 4 speed or 421,(or tri power) but I still love it! My parents had a Catalina Safari wagon when I was a kid and always loved the "big beak" Pontiacs a lot. If you get a chance look on my page and see my pictures of mine. Pontiac still alive and well! Great Video MrTombrophy-Poncho389
I am into extra long tail shafts ,I just need a different carrier to make the 21 work right. That was a really cool video ,I was worried you were gonna put it in a ditch !*****
I think he went back into 3rd as he was entering a lower speed turn at the same time while still accelerating. 5th if he even had it would have been illogical as well as not allowing the engine RPM's we heard... So...3rd

3 Deuces. 4 Speed. 8 Lug Wheels. Man, it don't get no better...
That was awesome! I just got a 66 catalina that I saved from a impound lot. Tragic that some young fool abandoned her....Good video, beautiful car!
Probably one of the nicest cars ever build...

I love your Pontiac-Surely one of the most seductive automotive bodies of all time

They are (oddly) popular in Sweden.

@MrTombrophy OK must have been the Vodka n Tonic I was drinking!

Great ride, Love it
Is that a 5 speed? right at 1:02 i see you either put it into 5 or back down 2 3rd?
Just curious
Fine ride, love it!

Because it looks as Mendham NJ.
Thanks-
4 Speed w/421ci engine
nice car! what outside/inside color have this car? i restore a 66 bonnie coupe and its martinique bronce/fawn and it looks like the same. thanks
a previous owner repainted it to '67 GTO Signet gold
EFFEN Kick-Ass
Great car, great video, great production. But I'm very sorry, the Bonnie ain't no '68 Charger R/T.
Did you own a White Bonneville with black vinyl top ?
Thanks
Filmed near Mt Fuji restaurant in Hilburn, NY
Are they all straight shift?
@paktype its still a tripower pontiac its f'ing sweet
@paktype A '66 421 HO had 376 hp compared to the '68 Chargers R/T 375 hp. Unless the charger had a 3.55 or 4.10 gear ,it might be an interesting race.
Vielen Dank!
@midnitesquirldog 421 super duty tri-power
Thanks-
wait does that car have two radios?
the heater/fan controls were made exactly to match the look of the radio
