Nice, A blast from my past. The DX60B and HG-10B was my Novice setup back in 1974 along with my Hammarlund HQ110C rcvr. I miss those days but still a bit active on 40 and 15 m QRP with my heath HW-8 ;-) 73 de WA4JAT
Great video, Mike, and thanks for the mention . I was going to rebuild stock . And like the t/r and push to talk mods you're speaking of . I would do the same . I will watch the videos over again to make everything sink in . 73
Mike, I wish this series of videos were around when I rebuilt my DX-60B a few years ago. I have a stupid question, when you’re checking the values of resistors and capacitors, are you removing them to test or can they be done inline? 73 Lloyd - W1LBM
I have attached a link to the restoration of a Halicrafters S-40. Watch the entire series. It will answer many of your questions. th-cam.com/video/CBqBBVT5CLg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=sExClaZ81UW-4yUi
All good info, Mike. Pointing out details on the schematic helps a lot. I just bought a DX-60 to restore and your videos will be a great help.

I'm working on a HW-100 1/2, the 1/2 is the additional filter, so both CW and SSB filters
Awesome Mike! Great job Thanks for the tutorial. Some of my parts have come in and are installed.
Thanks for the video, Mike!
Ohh, I may be able to get my DX-60 on the air! Thank you very, very much for a most useful series! 73 N1ZUC
