If you enjoyed this video, be sure to check out my review of the Malaysia Airlines A350 Business Class product on my channel: th-cam.com/video/XWkcIV6NS7w/w-d-xo.html
"Negaraku" was pronounced accurately (or as accurate as possible with an accent) it means "My country". "Wau Emas" on the other hand was butchered (appreciate the effort), "Wau" is a traditional Malaysian kite and "Emas" is the colour of Gold. Essentially Golden Kite. Champange was not initially offered may due to local laws with alcohol (and possibly local taxes). Nuts on the other hand may be because some other passenger is allergic and request to not be served.
I don't care about the plane's facilities that provided by Malaysia Airlines, as long as i can enjoy their food and services. When my journeys with MH, the delicious taste of food was awesome experience compared to another airlines. The crew was so friendly, pretty, soft-spoken, smiling faces all the time. I don't know when they're going to stop smiles. haha!! I will pay more just for the foods. You can't find the originality of taste as same as MAS's foods in any other airlines. MAS becoming my first choice to travel. Relevant prices with excellent services. Keep it up Malaysia Airlines, I'm falling in love with your food and services. Thank You!
Malaysia Airline is one of the best Airline in the world ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There is no other Airline that beats the Malaysian hospitality and the Malaysian cuisine! Malaysian crew are always friendly and always have a warm and welcoming smile. No other Airline to date, in my experience have such lovely crew as the Malaysian Crew! Hoping Malaysia Airline will re open their Cape Town, South Africa route, which they closed in January 2012 😥 Keep smiling Malaysia Airline Crew, you are, and always will be, the best! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hugs from Cape Town, South Africa 🤗🤗😘😘🌹🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
Great review. The Malaysia A350 first class is such a curious product. I think I could justify burning miles for it for a one off. You really are relying on extra-polished service as you say when you’re in F. I can’t help but sometimes think we’re seeing the beginning of the end of first class. Business class is now very, very private and passenger-focused and can be very cost effective.
Thanks Paul, and I completely agree with all of your points. I certainly would have been unhappy if I had paid for this flight (with cash rather than miles) and the idea that business is just as good these days was high lighted by my brilliant Qatar Q Suite flight the day after I took this one. I must admit that I could have been even more harsh in my criticism of the crew although I felt a little bad for them... :(

#firstclassamenitykit such an honest review.. malaysia airlines has gone through lots of up and down.. as it is picking up, hope that the glory shall return..
Superb review as usual Paul. As always I love the humor. The Malaysian first class product is of course not a world beater but I certainly would not complain if I was lucky enough to experience it. Look forward to your next upload.
#firstclassamenitykit my sincere opinion - a truthful n sincere review if my country Malaysia National Carrier. Malaysia Airlines System eventhough it has been around for a lot of years and the company have to deal with a lot of setback from inside and outside factors. Nevertheless with the slogan ‘Malaysia Boleh’ the national carrier is trying their utmost best to once again becoming one of the people choice airlines. As Malaysian i do hope you sir will continue to fly with MAS eventhough you experience some sub standard services n facilities. I also do hope MAS will keep on upgrading those area for the benefit of current n future traveller. Many thanks to you sir for reviewing our National Carrier without prejudice. Thank you.
#firstclassamenitykit Your honesty is important. Integrity is often lcking on TH-cam, and www and social media. Thank you for maintaining yours. As a traveller, your reviews help me decide which airlines, class,, and even airports to use.
Enjoyed detailed commentary (and excellent visuals) including little quips eg "only energy to move a finger". Interesting descriptions and visuals of lots of cuisine delights - consumed at very frequent intervals it seems! And why not?! Concluded by spectacular footage of the Tower Bridge over the river Thames on a sunny London day while on approach to Heathrow.. Again well done Paul
#firstclassamenitykit I have flew most of travel with Malaysian Airlines. The service is great and I enjoyed their Business Class very much. Can’t wait to watch you business review soon.Thank you Paul for the review
Came across your channel, Paul, and my first impression was..."Is this another blogger spruiking the airlines?" I was glad to hear that this was not the case. So thank you for the videos I have so far seen and I look forward to your future reviews and back catalogue. Regards Joe :-)
Another great video Paul! It looks alright although those views flying over Heathrow were beaut! One thing I really love about your videos are the great views out of the window. You manage to capture the colours in all of their glory and keep the camera pretty still. Thanks for the videos!
#firstclassamenitykit thank you Paul for your honest review. As Malaysian, I agreed that Malaysia Airlines has many to improve. Back then, they been awarded with the World’s Best Cabin Crew but recently the services decline. Hopefully they will improve and won the title again. By the way, you should try their Teh Tarik as it is 1 of their signature besides Satay.
Hmmmm.... your footage coming into London was amazing. Thanks for sharing and thanks for continuing to showcase your aviation geekness. 👍 Cheers, and enjoy your next flight.
The thought of hundreds of thousands of pounds of steel, aluminium, plastic and fuel flying 7 to 8 miles high at a speed of 600 mph with hundreds of lives on board never ceases to amaze me. Seriously, think about that. My great granny was born in 1879. As a kid, she traveled west at about 20 miles a day on a good day. It took the family an entire summer and nearly everything they owned to travel across the country. When she passed in 1978, humans could buy a ticket for a few hundred dollars, just a few days worth of work, and travel 600 miles in one hour. Sit back, eat a questionable meal, eat a bag of peanuts and have a Diet Coke while you are hurling through the sky at a rate of 6 miles a minute.
Thanks for watching. Be sure to check out my review of the Malaysian A350 business class product too :) Link here: th-cam.com/video/XWkcIV6NS7w/w-d-xo.html
What an informative and fun review, sir! I’m Malay-American and I am saving my quarters to visit my family in Malaysia after 20 years soon. I doubt I can ever afford a business class from JFK to KUL but watching your video is just as fun. Cheers from Pennsylvania!
I’m glad Malaysia is starting fly internationally again. It was sad to see them have to completely overhaul the company due to freak accidents. #firstclassamenitykit

When travelling, like many I am a loner and do not want to be disturbed by anyone or anything but if I saw you at an airport on on a seat next to me would greet you as you are true genuine traveller, unlike many other infotainment promoters (we know and see them often at lounges and planes)
thanks Paul, again another great independant review :-) and indeed, this does not look like a a true First, but rather a slightly pimped business class ... keep it up, always enjoying it!
I’ve flone Malaysia airlines 🇲🇾 From Adelaide to Kuala Lumpur for a holiday in economy class, the flight took 7 hours and it was a bit squishy but the food was great. The downside of the flight is that I had growing pain lol.
Another fantastic video Paul! The A350 is a great looking aircraft although it's a pity that the service wasn't quite up to scratch. Looking forward to the next video!
#firstclassamenitykit Love watching your airline review videos. I found it hilarious when you've mentioned about the daughter of Korean air in this video. Lol.
Thanks for sharing your First Class trip review with MH. The A350 certainly is a lovely aircraft. I liked the way it just purred on takeoff. Nice big windows too to enjoy the view. Meals looked lovely. Happy travelling in the future.
#firstclassamenitykit I have recently taken the economy class from London to KL using Malaysia Airlines as well. Kinda agree on your point that MAS has less content in their entertaining system. I personally think they could also consider providing free WIFI onboard for passengers. However, their inflight magazine is one of my favourite whenever I flew with them.
#firstclassamenitykit the last time I've been with MH4 is on their A380 from heathrow back to KL, would like to travel to UK once again once I've saved enough nice and honest review, MAB sure has some space for improvements
What makes these reviews great is not only the great observations and explanations, but the humor never fails to give me a laugh. Keep these reviews coming in! :) #firstclassamenitykit And that engine sounds great!
I just feel that MH just isn’t ready for First Class. Their service in First Class says it all. Ohh and i’ve heard recently that they are considering renaming their A350 First Class to “Super Business Class”
Paul Stewart I’ve got a QR flight biz trip coming up soon too. Just a quick question at the start of your video you have a route map how can I get that?
Stumbled across your channel. Been addicted to watching First/Business Class reviews and came across your Qantas First Class review from Syd to London. Seems like Malaysian Airlines hasn't improved much and disappoint in the same areas. Keep the vids coming! #firstclassamenitykit
#firstclassamenitykit Firstly Paul I don't think you need to justify your "TH-cam" channel to anyone. It's obvious once you watch the reviews there isn't a bias nor a pecuniary interest. Liked the review. A disappointing product offered by the airline specially when one can compare the business class service with first.
2:34 - for your info, Wau Emas is their signature drink and they would serve that to all First Class flyers. As a Malaysian carrier, they do carry a lot of Muslims, who don’t drink alcohol. It’s not because they are tight.
Came here from Jeb Brooks channel and you did not disappoint. Glad to hear your disclaimer at the start regarding integrity. Have a like and a new subscriber!
Thanks for the kind words. I feel that a number of well known youtubers have sold their souls to airlines or other advertisers with product placements so my angle is to remain impartial and genuine. :)
#firstclassamenitykit Nice review, Paul, and I find the A350 amazing. Looking at the menu, I really think they need a good proofreader! Don't they care about what they print? Quality should live in every detail and there is nothing more annoying than bad spelling. At least to me.
Thank you for reviewing Malaysia Airline. I hope MH will improve in the future. Honestly that mocktail was the healthiest drink and should be served more on board rather than alcohol. I agree there should be some nibbles such as banana chips or preserve guava.

Both of the Pauls love Cathay. :D

Paul's. Would you prefer business class or first if you had less points and needed to choose the best option to get as far as possible?

Looking at earth atmosphere looks absolutely beautiful from that distance High in the air
I completely agree Dean! :)
This looks like the equivalent of Singapore Airlines Biz class !
Uhmm no, not really.
Superb review. Very insightful.
I just feel that MH just isn’t ready for First Class. Their service in First Class says it all. Ohh and i’ve heard recently that they are considering renaming their A350 First Class to “Super Business Class”
True, somehow their previous first class product and services on B747 & A380 was pretty stunning its just A350 is simply not meant for F class
Great review Paul, funny as ever looking forward to the next biz class review.
Thanks Jason. Hopefully I'll have QR J up in a week or two. :)
Paul Stewart I’ve got a QR flight biz trip coming up soon too. Just a quick question at the start of your video you have a route map how can I get that?
Hi Jason, its a feature in imovie.
Paul Stewart thanks Paul will check that out.
#firstclassamenitykit I’m from Malaysia but usually use AirAsia as they do more regional flights
Stumbled across your channel. Been addicted to watching First/Business Class reviews and came across your Qantas First Class review from Syd to London. Seems like Malaysian Airlines hasn't improved much and disappoint in the same areas. Keep the vids coming! #firstclassamenitykit
Thanks mate. Heaps of more videos coming soon. :)
Can't w8 to go to London in 2020 Insyallah😊
Safe travels! London is fantastic!
Great video! Greetings from Malaysia!
Thanks you. Greetings from Australia! :)
Thx Paul!!. Great review and honest!..
Glad you enjoyed it my friend
#firstclassamenitykit can't wait to fly Malaysia Airlines soon!
Like it so much MH.. great video Paul. Keep it up
Glad you enjoyed it
#firstclassamenitykit love your review! dont know when i can ever buy a first class ticket though!
Proud to be Malaysian 🇲🇾
Wau Emas= Gold Kite (literally)
2:34 - for your info, Wau Emas is their signature drink and they would serve that to all First Class flyers. As a Malaysian carrier, they do carry a lot of Muslims, who don’t drink alcohol. It’s not because they are tight.
I love the A350
It's a great aircraft! Don't forget to check out my other A350 videos and find me on instagram for heaps more A350 pics :)
I think they don't serve alcohol while still on the ground in Malaysia..
They do, because it's considered as "business"
@@azizahjaffar4404 lol
They don't because Malaysia is an islamic based country and in the islam religion, you can't drink alcohol or eat pork or go to strip clubs and etc.
@@11RaiRai01 Alcohol is provided too while on the ground. Pork and alcohol can be found everywhere. I bet you have not been to Malaysia
@@zhaoshengbong5073 im malaysian
Entertaining mate, keep up the awesome work.
Cheers Thomas
#firstclassamenitykit Nice review, Paul, and I find the A350 amazing. Looking at the menu, I really think they need a good proofreader! Don't they care about what they print? Quality should live in every detail and there is nothing more annoying than bad spelling. At least to me.
You sound like a fun person to be around.
You are very sarcastic, Kevin, LOL. That's okay, I don't mind.
Thank you for reviewing Malaysia Airline. I hope MH will improve in the future. Honestly that mocktail was the healthiest drink and should be served more on board rather than alcohol. I agree there should be some nibbles such as banana chips or preserve guava.
Thanks for watching :)
Thanks sir
#firstclassamenitykit
They swapped out the positioning of the fork and knife. Rookie error :p
Yes, I'm gonna travel to London next month but in the business class... It's the best airline for me in southeast Asia
Enjoy
